I hope the ending remains the same... we have all seen a happy ending in every single Indian show. This show is different so I wish that they keep to the original plot. Plus this show is a finite series reason why the show is going at a fast pace. Also, the orginal show had 79 episodes so I'm guessing the Indian version will add other dramas into the story.

I have never watched Ask-i-Memnu fully. Just saw the first epi with subtitles but couldn't find the rest Its certainly engaging and the characters are intriguing. I loved the plot but my only concern is Indian audience (including me). Unfortunately shit shows like Kumkum Bhagya, YRKKLH which show n promote regressive, repetitive content work here. The TRPs are a proof for this. Long ago there used to be a channel called 9X and there was a show which was intended to show a love story between a bhabhi and devar (or maybe someone else). Even though the husband of the female lead was unfaithful, Indian audience could never accept that the heroine fell for another man. So the plotline itself changed. I dont have any hope that these guys wont screw up to please the janta 😵
I had read an article where it was mentioned that Ahana informs Anant she wants to marry him for taking revenge on her mother n he complies. If that is the case they are deviating from the main plot since the female lead in the original though marries him for the same reason, she never reveals that to him, allowing him to believe this was a normal marriage.

Me too and a happy ending often ruins the essence of a tragic story. Tragic endings have been their beauty and it seems a lil real.

I am all for a tragic ending. I saw the last episode of Ask I memnu and the way it ended was truly sad. All the characters were left heartbroken and there was nothing to be happy about but it also seemed an appropriate end, as it's very difficult to imagine a happy ending for such a convoluted mess. A tragic end will look very realistic and also will impact emotional senses of the audience intensely.

Even I agree, the end should remain tragic. Behlul character shown cowardice and didn't took the responsibility when time arrives. In this kind of relation, one of partner chicken out from taking responsibility.

I liked that in the end Behlul left with no one but life fill with regrets which make love story worth telling.

Ditto !! I am a sucker for happy endings but for this I don't want it to be changed... it should remain like the original otherwise it will ruin the essence...no other ending could be appropriate for it so I really hope they stick to the original one

Totally! It would be highly unrealistic for everyone to escape from this situation unscathed and for Ahana and Rehaan to happily ride into the sunset. And from whatever I have seen and read of the Turkish show, Bihter, Ahana's Turkish counterpart seems like someone who just doesn't regret falling in love with Behlul and wants to be with him at any cost, which means there's no sati savitri type sacrifices here. Given all this a happy ending seems highly unlikely.
It may make us all cry but it will be the closest thing to reality and we all want this show to be different from the rest, don't we? 😊

P.S Were you on the POW forum as well? We may have interacted there :)
