Today's episode was the aftermath of Anu's death.. The most painful parts are over, time for the reality to sink-in. It is not easy, Ram is definitely not in a position to accept the reality, he is still in dazed state, the blankness in his eyes and the slumped shoulders are indicators of his mental state.. We haven't seen him crying for Anu's death yet. His pain & angst are bottled up, which is much more dangerous & destructive. The unexpressed pain is spreading from within, killing the mental sanity. Where is it leading him to.. Only time (and the upcoming tracks) will tell..

Continuation of yesterday's last scene. Ram wrongly led by Karan, he watches helplessly at his kids doing the last rites. Such a painful scene, it looked to me Ram going away was more due to his inability to bear the pain of seeing his kids lighting the pyre of his wife more than Karan's wrong advice. Ram is completely not in his senses, he needs somebody who can support him and guide him, not this GFN Karan. What I don't understand about Karan is his long term plan. How he is planning to keep Ram from police but also help him reach the kids, because Karan keeps insisting that Ram should hide for the sake of children.

It was just too unbearable even for me to see the kids's pain when they were doing the last rites, the way they hugged each other, heart-wrenching.

Back at home, it is now the turn of Manika to badmouth Ram. Mr, Kapoor trying to mend the distance with Disha saying she is his own blood, Disha retorting that she is her mother & father's blood. Love this girl's attitude.. Today I was very impressed with Pankaj Dheer's performance, he portrayed the right amount of anger, hurt and helplessness. Disha question of what the big deal in Mr. Kapoor bearing the expenditure of last rites when he failed to even acknowledge Anu for the last 18 years, did make an impact on Mr, Kapoor. And also the fact that Disha tried to reach him, but he failed to respond to her. Some powerful dialogues by Disha here and also in the precap scene of Disha returning the money to Mr. Kapoor. And the acting is powerful too. The way Disha says 'Mr. Kapoor', she make it sound like an insult, awesome it is.

The FB scene of mother with her adorable children, given an uplift to the episode. A very very nice scene. Poor Disha, (& Aarav) she only have memories now, but at-least she has loads of good memories.

Manika showing exasperation and anger on her father's behalf, but it is not having any impact on Mr. Kapoor. He is still reliving the hurtful (but valid & justifiable) words by Disha. Still he is not even thinking of Ram coming to meet him, and begging him, shows his deep rooted animosity towards Ram.

We are introduced of Sooraj's wife and we get to know that their son joining law college.. Does that mean Disha too will join law? Does that mean Disha is 17 years old now? Hmm, not sure..

Sooraj proved to be another GFN, when he tried to comfort his beloved boss by claiming he didn't do anything wrong. Loyalty is good, but not when it is blind..

Ram hallucinating about Anu, wanting to take her to Manali. Gurdeep again overdid the happy part, her over enthusiasm was too much of a contrast to the blankness in Ram's eyes. Ram was like a lost child, he did the slightly vague & confused look very very well.

Ram wanting to do the immersion of ashes, kids thinking of the same. But there are two haddis, one the police inspector and another GFN Karan. Disha is still confident of her dad, it is heartening to see her trust,. She hit the nail on the head when she correctly guessed the reason behind inspector's over-zeal to implicate Ram, Mr. Kapoor's animosity. But the inspector claims Ram is the suspect because of nurse's statement, but did the nurse see Ram taking off the oxygen mask, she didn't, she is only assuming that he did, who is going to question that?

Ram is determined to the ashes immersion himself, he is on the way to home. Again Karan is the only person to see him coming home. Come-on, it is too much of a co-incidence to be realistic. Episode ends on the determined face of Ram.

Precap : Our GFN friend managed to steal the Asthi kalash under the watchful eyes of police ;). Hmm so he couldn't placate Ram by any other way. Mr, Kapoor showing his true colours by ordering the inspector to find Ram at any cost, Ram on the run with police chasing him and kids following him. Aarav falls down. Seems like Disha would stop running to attend Aarav, meanwhile she would lose track of Ram, and maybe Ram would meet with the accident. A very dramatic episode awaiting us tomorrow.

I liked today's episode much better, may be the FB and Ram's hallucination kind of balanced the episode..

Agreed!
Disha has been fantastic these last few episodes. So very pleased with her.

I think the most parts of the grieving are slowly coming to an end, even though this have left a scar in the children's heart and it will pain forever, but Disha seems to be able to at least starting to control herself with this scary event, and Aarav doesn't seem to understand the current situation and how hard their lives can get without their mother, and he doesn't seem to be giving Disha a hard time, and he's so young- you cannot expect him to totally understand this. Really hurts looking at Disha and Aarav. And this situation reminds me of something my mom frequently says- the father may be the head of the family, but the mother is forever the neck of the family.

Disha has been beyond perfect these past few episodes. Her attitude, body language, tone of speech, everything is awesome. She's on fire. Mahima is doing a fantastic job in acting as Disha Ahuja. Loving her.

In such a condition, I feel Ram needs a true friend and supporter. Poor guy just lost his wife, you cannot expect him to make wise decisions right now. For Ram's own safety and future, he'a going to need a good friend who provides advice that leads him in the right direction. I'm really not liking Ram-Karan's friendship. Seems like one heck of a mistake to me.

The flashback was very cute. The last bit where they try and scare Ram is a bit overdone but oh well. The hallucination part was also very well done but I also feel Gurdeep overdid it a tad bit.

Pankaj Dheer is a great actor- just don't fully like his role as Mr. Kapoor. Today he didn't do anything irritating- saw more of a father role for once. Watching him grieve about the loss of Anu was very realistic. And yes, I agree, Suraj did not do a good thing by saying that it was not his fault at all. There is a fine limit between lending support and giving out false hope.

At the end, I like how Disha sent Aarav into a room alone. Knowing what to talk and what not to talk in front of a child is good. Loving how she has so much trust and belief for Ram.

Overall, good episode. Precap is very interesting. When Disha shouts out 'why're you running', for some reason that really broke my heart. My only worry is that she will lose faith in Ram and start to believe that he is the cause for Anu's death. That will be unbearably painful.

Yes, Ram is in a very precarious state. And his useless friend Karan isn't helping matters. What I liked was Ram looking the part...dazed, tired, shabby and lost. Glad that this PH isn't making him look "rich". I agree, he hasn't cried since Anu died and it's only going to make him lose his mental stability. He needs to be with his children and cry with them. But seems that is not going to happen.

Ram's expressions were really good. He was seeing his children light the pyre and yet, along with the pain, he was looking dazed too and Karan manages to pull him away. Karan needs a reality check. What are his plans? Hide Ram all his life?

Mahima again gave a splendid performance. The way she questions her grandfather and stands up to him proudly, was very good. Disha is certainly one of the strong characters of this show and hope she continues to be. Mr Kapoor is plagued by sorrow and guilt and it's good that Disha pointed out his blunders. Which man or rather father will not at least secretly want to know how his child is doing? Pankaj Dheer, another strong performer. Anu's sister is surely going to be a thorn in this side of the Ahujas. She seems to be keen to keep her place as Daddy's favourite. Good that her father isn't paying too much attention at the moment to her words.

The breaking of the money box was a powerful moment, especially when Disha says that Ram Ahuja's wife's last rites will be performed by Ram Ahuja's daughter and forcefully puts the money into her grandfather's hand to cover the expenses he bore for the funeral. The money may not cover the expenses but it was a stand-out moment.

Sooraj seems to be very faithful to Mr Kapoor. He points out certain things or mistakes to him but doesn't forcefully put his point across. Let's see if he changes for the sake of the Ahujas later on.

It was nice to have the flashback of Anu and the children. Hope they do show such flashbacks through out. It would create a balance in the show.

Seems Sooraj's son is joining law college. Will Disha too since they are supposed to study in the same college? Do I see both these people defending Ram in court in the future?

Ram aced the scene with Anu. His demeanour and manner of speaking were spot on. A man who is hallucinating... Yes, Gurdeep over did the chirpy bit. I wish she was a little more toned down. Perhaps this was the director's vision for the scene but Anu need not be a live wire all the time. A more sober Anu with Ram in this scene would have been better.

A good lawyer will throw out the nurse's testimony. She never really saw Ram fiddling with the oxygen mask. Otherwise she wouldn't have asked Ram who pulled the mask off when she came into the room the other time. She is only assuming that Ram did it.

Disha is still confident about her father. Something tells me that Disha isn't going to hate her father. I don't think this show works on predictable lines.

Why does Karan pop up everywhere Ram goes hehe? I think maybe Ram will probably immerse the ashes and then get into the accident that the articles were talking about.

As of now, it's not easy to predict where the show is going and what is going to happen. This is one of the good points of this show.

Yes Sanjana, Disha is able to control herself.. And that's how we human beings are programmed, when pushed into a sea of problems, we try to swim, not to sink. It is not just grief, Disha had to handle, but also the never-ending battle with her grandfather, and the responsibility towards her very young brother. She just doesn't have the option to breakdown, and she is one hell of a fighter.

Ram, given the similar circumstances proabably would have behaved similar way and might have able to pickup himself for the sake of kids, and also to handle the resposnibilties involved in arranging funeral and other day to day mundane stuff. Perhaps that would have acted as balm for his own grief, there is nothing more soothing than a sense of purpose. Thanks to our Karan, now his mind is idle, and we all know idle mind is devil's advocate.

According to arctics, Karan is supoosed to be Ram's support system, let's see how it plays out.

Yes, Gurdeep did the scaring Ram part at the end of FB a bit OTT too.. But overall it was cute.

Yes, Pankaj Dheer is a good actor, but his demeanour on Monday & Tuesday didn't convey any empathy, the shared pain with Disha, it was more of anger & irritation, but he was perfect in yesterday's episode.

Yes, it was such a nice matured gesture by Disha to send Aarav in while talking to the inspector, I love the way these makers handle such small, but sensitive issues, when we see little kids talk & behave much beyond thier age in other shows.

I am not sure whether Disha will start hating Ram, loving the way the writers keep us guessing.

Yes, Suganthi, Ram looks the part, I remember we discussing about how squeaky clean Ram's hands & his white shirt were when RaYaPi were involved in the plane crash and Ram searched for Priya and Pihu in the muddy forest, No such luck for him here ;)

Sometimes I wonder whether Karan is really safeguarding Ram's interests or Mr. Kapoor's..

What I cannot relate with Mr. Kapoor's behaviour was his lack of curiosity when Ram came to meet him, he was even aware by then about Ram's failed attempt to sell his music. How could he not think what made Ram reach out to him after so many years.. Disha is still not aware of Ram's attempt to meet her grandad, that will make her more incensed. Yes, if indeed Disha & Aarav comes to live with Kapoor's, Manika would not leave any chance to needle Disha, and already it would be a nightmare for Disha to come to Kapoor Mansion after the confrontations she had with her grandad.

Btw, it looked like Sooraj & family lives on the grounds of Kapoor Mansion, Perhaps Sooraj and his son would become Disha's support system?

Yes, it was indeed a powerful moment when Disha broke the piggybank and declared herself as Ram Ahuja's daughter so proudly. The gesture was more crucial than the money involved.

Yes, it is a possibility that Disha and Sooraj's son takes up Ram's case, but does that mean, Ram will be on the run (or in hiding) for the next 5+ years? Sounds unrealistic.

Either the nurse is basking in the glory of her new found importance as a witness in the murder case, or that Police is twisting her statement to satisfy Mr. Kapoor's pursuit of revenge. This statement will not stand in the court of law, but we need Ram to come out of hiding for the case to reach court, isn't it?

You know, Karan has some laser vision which alerts him of Ram's presence before anyone else can see, and on seeing Ram, Karan does some jadoo to make Ram invisible to others ;). Ok, the too many magic stories I read as a kid coming back to me ;).

Yes, it is not easy to predict and I am in a wait & watch mode.
