I don't think it's sudden. He has been seeing that she is not who he thinks she is. In fact he already knows it. But he didn't want to accept it. She lied to him all this time and he was too betrayed to want to give her a second chance. He only went to her to do a deal. But I am sure even that he probably hated doing. Like Gauri said he is angry coz he had to "take her help". LOL
Well now with everything that has happened and how many times she has helped him with the Dhoorandar thing. (Coz if she had in fact been gone then, he knew he was screwed in front of Dhoorandar). This time he IS grateful to her and has toned down his rehtoric. I am so glad he didn't try to impose his "will" on her and tell her that she had to marry him in front of Bua Ma to keep her happy and then she can leave! I would have hated it if he had compelled her in any way. Because that is not Om. He doesn't think that other people need to sacrifice themselves for the betterment of his family. So glad they didn't butcher him by showing him do that.
Now he left the choice up to her and she was getting ready to leave. Somewhere he doesn't want her to go but he can't actually stop her either. This time maybe he also thinks if he asks her to stay, she will think he is only doing it so she will keep faking in front of Bua Ma, and I don't think Om wants her to think that. However Bua Ma comes and stops her yet again. I think our Omkie is falling in love with Gauri. But he's been hurt in the past and he has been betrayed he won't risk his heart that easily. But I have a feeling it's already too late for him and maybe even he knows it and is afraid of it too.
I am just glad the Old Om can be seen again, I really missed him. As much as Kunal looked hot playing angry, he looks equally hot playing confused and lost with those wistful looks he gives Gauri. Those big brown eyes of his speaks volumes!! :❤️
