Plot device to keep the story going 😆 ShivRu will side with Om and not Gauri if he tells them that he doesn't want the marriage so everyone has to be clueless. If the drama ends then there will be no rasams or angry interactions either.
I doubt it will happen, but it would be interesting to see him explode during the rasams and finally say he doesn't want this marriage. There is a lot of buildup, but the writers will continue the stop Gauri game until the end of the MS.
