RiKara Drabble - The Man Who Cried Wolf!

So this entire fake romance business is pretty interesting huh? And trust Omkara to make it look like the real thing. This is me inspired from today's segments!

Her lehenga swirled around as she twirled, the pooja taali in her hand and her attention down on the heel with loose strap. Its buckle had come undone and she was trying to fasten it unsuccessfully.

He bent down wordlessly, long slender fingers stroking her ankle.

" Allow me," his whisper was husky as his dark brown eyes flickered upwards to hold her gaze.

He liked watching his effect on her, it had turned in to a new found hobby, infringing her personal space and watching the way her eyes widened a little, her breathing pick up speed and her fingers fidget with anything she was holding.

Gauri nodded slightly, her heart rate picking up as his fingers brushed on her foot, clasping the buckle back on.

He stood up, sharing her air, face close to hers.

"Thank you!" Her pronunciation was improved he noticed distantly as she turned around to leave. He pulled her back, a nonchalant arm around her waist.

Her eyes were wide again, pools of honey brown that seemed to have no depth. He breathed her jasmine fragrance and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.

"Bohut khubsoorat lag rahi ho," he muttered a finger tracing a line down her jaw into her throat.

"koi dekh lenga," she pretended to protest as he buried his face in the crook of her neck.

" Gauri!" Someone was calling her.

They both ignored it for a moment, his lips almost touching her skin, one of her hand coming to rest on his chest, right over his beating heart.

The trance broke rather cruelly as she gently pushed him away.

"Wo chali gayi," she said her eyes sliding towards some far corner behind his shoulder. Omkara turned to follow her gaze and with a tinkle of anklets she went away, already too far away from him.

Fisting his hand he sighed. After all this while did she still believe they were acting for Svetlana's benefit? Couldn't she read it clearly in his eyes like he had on hers?

And frankly Svetlana, couldn't you wait another second?

I know it's not great but after that segment I had to get this out of my system.
