What's with Omkara's language?

While I am cutting Omkara some slack and not judging him for his behaviour or the misplaced anger and frustration that he's taking out on Gauri I was appalled by his language in the episode.

I understand he's angry but all that 'Bataaa' and 'teri jaisi aurat' sounded so crass! :/ Could have been said a little more, umm, respectfully.

P.S: This post is not meant to instigate anyone, it's just a general observation and something I feel that could have been dealt with in a more dignified manner.

He actually said "Teri jaisi Bathchalan aurat ki wajan se meri Chulbul aaj problem main hai!". The "Batha" reminded me of Shivaay.

I have had some cringing moments watching the anger of Om these days and I honestly dont like it. Some of it I get and I even accept. But sometimes I feel they make him over step and it makes me uncomfortable. However, this scene was actually not nearly as "Bad" as I was expecting it to be. So thank CV's for small mercies I say!

@MrDarcyfan: I guess you're right, it could have been worse but even then I wasn't prepared for it..I guess the use of the term 'TERI' and 'Bataa' just put me off..He has accused her of being characterless before too but it was how he said it this time that made me cringe :(

I dont think he calls Svetlana "Aap" anymore. He used to in IB. That was when she was his Father's mistress. But now she calls her Tum as well. She's his fiancee now. Didnt he say "Tuj jaisi aurat" to her once, during one of their showdowns? I dont remember anymore.

Does ANY of Gul's hero's speak respectfully to their female leads? Only Asad called Zoya "Aap". (Coz he was very old school). The rest always called their GF's, Wives as "Tum". So nothing new to see here I guess!

I think his disgust towards gauri is more, that's y he's more disrespectful towards her than Svetlana.

But what is there to be more disgusted by Gauri?? What worse has Gauri done (as per Omkara) than Swetlana? They will unnecessarily making him AYM

Nothing more than Svetlana actually, but she's FL of a gul show that's her fault. She has to be insulted like anything. I don't know actually what are they trying to show.

Frankly even if gauri were to be a home breaker .. Still omkara or his family had nothing to do with that.. Om probably got into issues since he Married her but if she was even for real marrying KT ..omkara has no business in calling her characterless badchalan etc.. They just want us as viewers to feel the level of hate he has for gauri.. But it doesn't make sense for omkara character.. He is not shivaay who randomly insults and man handles women.. Kuch bhi..

Also I feel omkara over frustrates over gauri since she is more of a villager.. Where as swetlana is cunning and smarter so he can do nothing against her

Calling tu or tum is not disrectful and also aap is not necessary to be always respectful. It's the tone and sentence that matters. Remember Asad saying Zoya hurtful lines like 'Aap jaise ladki...', 'Aap kisi ghar ki bahu ya biwi nahi ban sakti', 'Aap bad example hai' and so on. Tum word is common between couples in majority of the shows. I just hope Om is never shown slapping Gauri like Asad did with Zoya but I read her that he raised his hand on her in last to last episode. But I agree Om's tone is not good. Gul is ruining him.
