They started for the picnic spot, in the car. They were going to meet whole group directly on picnic spot, courtesy Shivaay! His claim was he was allowing his younger brother to go on a condition, he arranged for a car. Of course, Shivaay had to leave his copyrights as Omkara and Rudra said, but nonetheless Rudra enjoyed his pampering. Saumya had felt awkward and was planning to get out of the plan, but Shivaay warned her to not dare, if she considered them as family and Rudra would have some company.
The ride was three hours long, and Saumya feared that her feelings should not brim considering so much proximity, but then she thought he will sit ahead with the driver and she will read a book.

But only if things were so simple, life would be a cakewalk. Shivaay and Omkara came to see Rudra and Saumya off, they kept their backpacks and luggage in the car. Then Saumya sat back comfortably, but what followed was unexpected. Rudra too came to sit beside her, she glared at him. Rudra calmly said, "Well as Bhaiya said, you have to give me company in true sense." Omkara smiled and said, " Good move bro. Wish you both a happy and safe journey." Saumya tried to be normal and smiled and bid them farewell and car started.

She took out her novel and pretended to be lost in it, and Rudra started listening to music from headphones. Half hour passed and both got bored. Saumya was feeling dizzy, and uncomfortable. Rudra sensed it before she told him and told the driver to stop the car. She thanked him but he was damn angry. Rudra roared, "Saumya, see how late you are doing now. You give me timings, and what is this? You skip breakfast?" She stepped down from the car to be hide her expressions but too late, he followed her and took her hand and said, "Answer me!" Saumya was shocked thinking how did he know, she skipped breakfast, so she said, " I, I..,had breakfast. Who told you I did not?"
Rudra just smiled, "Your face told, I know you well and you got too busy in packing. Didn't you get time to have breakfast?" No, she had not cos she was staring at his biceps for a Long time, but she could not tell him that. Saumya became a bit soft and held his hand, saying,"I am sorry, I forgot to have it. But now what do we do? There are no eateries here, we are on middle of the road."

Rudra said, "It is fine, I will do something." He went in and came with a packed parcel and handed to Saumya. She was surprised and opened it, saying "Wow! Parathas, thanks Rudra for caring..." She started eating happily before she talked more as she was hungry.
Rudra just nodded his head cutely she thought, and said, " You are welcome! I could not risk getting something else, you would have started again how you missed parathas. I will just inform the group, we will get late." He left and called his friend and told him. Then he just saw how Saumya was eating adorably the Parathas and enjoying every bit as if she will never get, and the thought made him sad. Indeed you will never get somethings later, he thought and hence you should enjoy little moments. Then he laughed on himself, what was he thinking and why was he staring at Saumya. He quietly took a photo of her from cell phone, cos she looked great with a bit of ketchup smeared on her lip, and all happy with a small joy.

Then he went to her and she had finished eating and drank some water. He went close and Saumya skipped a heart beat cos of the proximity and before she could say something, she felt something on her lips, which was gentle. Rudra whispered in her ear, "Next time, carry your own tissue paper. I will not be always with you. Let us go now."

Both went in the car and started for the journey. Rudra saw the bit of blush which had been on her cheek, when he wiped her lips. He did not know what to make of it, she was complex.

Saumya was thinking about her illusion which she thought was a kiss, if only illusions could come true. But she was happy and thought she would get sometime atleast to be in an illusion and some can last for a lifetime. Just when she was deep in her thoughts, she experienced a pull and heard a click, Rudra told he wanted a selfie with her. She did not mind cos she was in different thoughts. She thought he was crazy and unpredictable! But she asked him to share the selfie cos who knows, it maybe only one click with him.

Sometimes you have no control on things, both were creating memories in their own ways...if only they could express somethings.
