Part 3:
Gauri stared at Omkara. She couldnt believe that he is finally letting her explain her situation to him.
Omkara looked at her and walked to the sofa in the room and asked her to sit next to him by patting the couch right beside him. Gauri was hesitant at first but she started heading towards the couch. Once she sat next to him, putting a safe distance in between them, she looked down at her hands in her lap and started to speak.
Gauri: "Omkara Ji, the circumstances that took place in Bareliy were unfortunate, and i understand why you judged me the way you did, but what really happen was..." and then Gauri explained it all. Her aunt and uncle selling her, her mom's accident, having to make money and reason how they first met. Omkara smiled at the memory and remembering how scared and angry he was when she crushed his car.
Gauri continued explaining how the thakur kidnapped her when she tried to escape with her mom and how he shackled her feet together while she was at the thakur's house and how she tried to make omkara see so he could help her.
The more she revealed the more shocked and guilty Omkara felt about how badly he judged her. When Gauri explained that after they...got married, and he left, the people of Bareily were going to kill her because the Thakur blamed her for his wife's death, even though he is the one who killed and ruined two lives in a matter of seconds, Omkara's hands slowly curled up into fists and he wanted to kill the thakur for doing this. He was also disgusted by the thakur not only forcing her to marry him, but two other guys to! Who does that!!??!!
Gauri finally stopped talking and waited for Omkara's reaction. She still didnt look up because she was scared of what she might see. When she didnt hear him say anything, she started getting restless and started twisting her hands in her lap.
Omkara sensed her discomfort and realized he should say something.
Omkara:"What made you come to Mumbai then? Was it trying to get away from the thakur? And what about your ma?"
Gauri looked up to see Omkara staring at her. She saw him give her a tiny smile which made her lose her thought of concentration. Omkara full out smirked then and raised an eyebrow at her. She blushed and looked at her hands and continued.
Gauri:"Ma wanted me to fulfill this marriage so she told me to go to my sasural and also escape thakur's intention because even though you married me, he would have somehow gotten to me and who knows what he would have me do..."
Gauri couldnt even bare the thought of being kidnapped by the thakur again. Her eyes started to water thinking about her ma and what tortures she must be going through living there😔
Omkara saw that she might breakdown and so he took one hand and patted it in away to say not to worry.
Gauri looked up and gave him a watery smile before she composed herself and stood up.
Gauri: "So Now you see, im a good person and you were wrong about me! 😊 Now you can realize how amazing your wife really is 😆 and I can finally breathe knowing that whatever happens between us, atleast all our misunderstanding are take care of."
Omkara reclined back as he stared at his wife look down at him with a mischievous look. Now that he knew who she really was, he was happy that even without trying, fate gave him a loving life partner. And he couldnt wait to see what moments he is going to discover in life with her😊
Gauri:"Now i lied about being tired and am actually really hungry!"
Gauri turned to leave when Omkara granbed her arm and pulled her so she fell onto his chest on the couch.
Omkara: "You just told me the truth and i finally accept you as a wife and instead of finishing what we left off from, you want to go eat?"
Omkara said this with a smirk and Gauri gasped at how vulgar he was being. She would expect this kind of behavior from Rudra, but him?
Omkara started to lean forward to kiss her when she turned her face causing him to kiss her cheek. She tried to get up while blushing but he pulled her back.
Omkara: "So jhansi ki rani can also blush and quiet down huh?"
Gauri giggled and looked at him.
Gauri: "Maybe she only blushes for the one she admires."
It was Omkara's time to be shocked. Shocked enough that it gave time for Gauri to escape and run to the door. Before he could catch her, she had already ran out to the hallway and headed towards the kitchen.
She turned around and smiled at him while he leaned at the door with his arms crossed. She bit her lower lip seeing her husband look at her like that and turned around and ran to the kitchen.
As Omkara saw her go into the kitchen, he couldnt help but feel blessed that he had her to call his own. He couldnt wait for more amazing moments with her.
