As far as I can see OSO is a slightly more assertive and bitter version of Om himself. He is not arrogant. He is still compassionate, considering the marriage to save Gauri. He smiles rarely though but when he does, it is for simple things, a moment with his brothers or something amusing. He was sarcastic always but now the sarcasm has a cynical taste. The only significant difference is that he lost his faith in people which I always thought he will lose some day lol. Because he used to go overboard with it lol
