This show is only 2 weeks old and the forum opened in Top 5 at number 4. It's unfortunate that we have not gone up, but I think a long running SP show is having a wedding or whatever, and articles so they will have a lot of activity I guess.

I think eventually we will get more activity here. IB is a big forum and 8 months old. One can hardly expect the same level of activity from a 2 week old forum. This is pretty good for a new show.

For anyone struggling with the idea of what a "spin-off" is, it is a story based on a character or characters from another show. In the west this happens a lot. Sometimes after the original show goes off air, sometimes not. Most of the time, the shows have different storylines. Sometimes different timelines. DBO is a unique type of spin off as it focuses on characters from a currently running show and shows them in both shows. But in each show the dominance is given to different characters.

If you watch DBO without watching IB, it is not actually confusing, or Visa Versa. You can watch both shows or only one show it doesn't actually matter. The storylines have links but can run independently to each other as well. Each show has some of the same and some different characters and plot lines. As time goes they will get better at perfecting the timelines. I think for a new show this is doing really well, and already managed to gain people's interest. Both Omkara and Rudra are widely popular characters and will have no issue drawing viewers to a story about them. In fact the craze for them was so big, the channel decided to give them a spin off, rather than let them be sidelined for good. This is a very good thing! Lets focus on that, not the negatives!

I have not watched any of Shrenu's previous shows. Still I can say that, this spin off one is a good choice for her. Because one way or the other Gul's love stories reach the top (either online or trp) and Shrenu's character reminds me of Gul's previous leads geet and khushi very much (not anyone else). I do feel that GKS will reach masses like them.
