I understand where he's coming from but in reality things are SO different than what he perceives them to be so it's hard to take him seriously. I'll be team Omkara when he does something to make me change my opinion. But 5 episodes in and Gauri Kumari Ssarma has the upper hand as far as character philosophy/actions go xD

Yes, definitely she has got a focus and track that way. I like that she is a fighter and interesting but Omkara is justified in his way, and in some ways they are lorifying her to make him dumb.

Gauri isn't being "glorified". Both the characters make sense in their own ways. Which is the entire point because the timing of their encounter is so off that the MU is inevitable. When did I say Omkara ISN'T justified? He hates Gauri as he should because the circumstances around aren't helping in making a good image of her in his head (as I said in the OP itself) And when did I say I'm annoyed that Omkara isn't helping her? When did I say I WANT Omkara to help her? Yesterday and today, I said that Gauri has enough sense in her to save her own skin without anyone's help. I was just objectively saying that Omkara is the only person in this situation who is CAPABLE of saving her owing to him being a complete outsider. But he isn't because he has no reason to cuz of the circumstances.

Like really, just because I'm #TeamGauri in these episodes doesn't automatically make me Anti-Omkara. You know me from TBP days and this is what you're thinking I'm going on about? C'mon yaar 😆

Tbh, I had gotten a little surprised at the way Kali Thakur's brothers were being all, "Aaj peena ka maza ayega.." and stuff. Sure, bhai ki shaadi mein everyone gets happy. Bhabhi-Dewar relationship ke shashkey hi alag hote hain. But itna enthusiasm? So when Pandit called the younger brother in the mandap for the gathbandhan, I swear I screamed. Then the youngest brother was also there and I won't lie, I lost my shit. Seriously that was an AHMAZING plot twist. And so in context. It didn't come out of nowhere. It was surprise but a very...can't say pleasant because nothing is pleasant about this situation let's be real, but a very satisfying surprise for a viewer. Correct me if I'm wrong but there were no spoilers for this right? THANK GOD FOR THAT! Cuz these are the kind of surprises which are BEST kept hidden. So that reveal just gives ,you the most ahmazing cliffhanger. And the stakes raise exponentially foShrenur Gauri a few seconds before the episode ends! I LOVE IT!! At this point i was like What the hell???😡 Just yesterday i said..kal kya hoga kise pata..jab tak enjoy kar sakthe hain kar lenge..phir gul maa kya karegi kaun jaane🤣?? Dekho aaj hi de di na badasa twist..expect the worst will get the best🤣

Which means I'm drawing a blank for the rest of the episode 😆 But let's see...

KaliThakur kept being creepy and literally making it impossible for Omkara to have any sort of good opinion regarding Gauri. A part of me was feeling sucky watching Gauri bow down to every of KT's demands and that too with a smile on her face. The girl had such brilliant control over her emotions that her bright smiles in front of Omkara weren't allowing her to get any sort of help or support from legit the ONE person who could've helped her in this den of villains. The humiliation Gauri had to face and how she was resolved to see it through for her mother, It was totally Gauri's episode today...shrenu's eyes emotes every kind of feeling aptly..

But hey, the dance was wonderful. Specially how those random women came floating around like Peeli Titlis to provide background support. Best bit has to be Gauri "seducing" Omkara just for the sake of her phone 😆 I know Omkara was all disgusted by it but I doubt Gauri registered anything beyond the phone at his feet. He could've been a pillar and Gauri still would've charmed him like that. Again an MU..om would've thought " ye ladki kitni besharam hai..phele se ek ghar thod rahi hai aur ab mujhpe dore dal rahi hai😡...🤣

AE LOOK LOOK HAPPENED!! Not hawa hawa cuz both their hair were tightly tied but AWWW!! KUCH TOH HUAA! I'M SO HAPPY! Btw, does their BG music remind anyone of Merlin? That BBC show? It does give me strong Merlin vibes for some reason. ANYWAY! He held her so gently though 😳 And he actually pulled her up and neatly distanced herself from him. I was expecting he'd do a disgusted, "hmph" and drop her on the floor. But I was also expecting him to go all creeped out and take out a hand sanitizer from his pocket to clean his hands cuz he touched a disgusting, vile creature.hey but that is shivay not om😆 ..thats y i keep saying om hasn't changed a lot..maybe in some aspects..

But that didn't happen so I guess my expectations shouldn't be given much thought 😆 Remember what I said about timing yesterday? Cuz today the timing of their conversation made sense. Yeah, I'm still surprised how much sense their misunderstanding makes. Omkara told her in no complicated terms what he thinks of her and I like how Gauri's reaction was of basic hurt rather than rage. He doesn't matter to her enough for her to be affected by what he thinks of her but it still hurts nonetheless that she is reduced to+ being called a home wrecker who does it all for fun. Exactly my feeling..gauri seems to be hurt by what om thinks of her..is it an indication that gauri will be the first to fall in love with om..

Ek tou Sachai Ki Murat Omkara ko bhi AAJ hi apna comeback karna tha. I facepalmed at his honesty. He looked like a tattletale yaar! I'm so invested in Gauri's situation and rooting for her to get out of it so that when Omkara ended up creating MORE trouble for her, mereko gussa aagaya. Bhaad mein jae aisi honesty! :@ Yes yes, I know it's not objectively wrong of Omkara to tell KT what the real situation was. Because Omkara has no reason to be entangled in the Thakur Family Drama any more than he already is plus he IS making a business deal with KT so obviously he'd be more on KT's side but STILL! I was fuming at the way he got Gauri in trouble! This is what happens when u ask for old om🤣 ...

Gauri Kumari Ssarma continues to own my heart. That wiping of tears and trying to get her wits all collected cuz "Maa ko bachana hai" made me wipe MY invisible tears of pride. Go my gurl..go and rule the world. You are SO capable of it :') 👍🏼 gauri kumari sarma...strong yet sensitive...smart..proud but not egoistic..Shrenu has owned the character

Good to see you haven't and yes, both are justified in their ways.
Also Gauri's scenes being glorified I meant in general, all episodes and it is my point of view. I still feel they are. Like, I still like her fight and all but mixed views. Also in philosophy am in Team Omkara forever! Lessons and his quotes from IB days.
Yes we both can co exist, like being in opposite team but liking other characters!
