Nakuul-Kunal: The Mirror Effect

This post is based on the OLVs uploaded yesterday showing Shivaay fighting for Omkara against Kaali Thakur. Nakuul and Kunal, while fighting against Thakur's goons, had exactly identical moves, like one was the mirror-image of the other. I have to applaud the whole PH house for depicting/recording this sequence so beautifully. But, most importantly, I have to give credit to the two actors for imitating each other's body language perfectly. We could see the same connection in quite a few scenes in IB, like the one where Tej insisted that Om marry Sonia and Nakuul and Kunal had identical looks of disinterest on their faces while enacting the scene.

I love the O-Bros (the strength of their bond). But, more than the brothers, what I love is the equation between Nakuul, Kunal and Leenesh. Their chemistry, as was visible in IB, is almost palpable. They seem so comfortable with each other. Nakuul's insta post a few days back (wishing his on-screen brothers and the other lead cast-members all the best for DBO) hinted that even off-screen these three seem to connect very well.

How adorable are Nakuul and Kunal in the byte in one of the OLVs! Nakuul shines once again showing his wit when he talks about Om's hair flying in the wind and calling for Shivaay's help. Kunal too was so sweet talking about Shivaay's twelfth sense.

They are adorable on-screen and offscreen too

Leenesh's birthday celebration with IF was just hilarious

Their offscreen bonding is visible in that segment

More than their their FL's I love chemistry of these

@Blue: Haven't seen the video. I'll check it out.

@Red: I started watching IB because the show was promoted as the journey of three brothers. The audience was promised lots of bromance. All those hugs and emotional scenes as well as off-screen bytes portray the comfort NM, KKJ and LM share with each other. Simply adore all the three actors and their scenes together.

I never understood the significance of your post till I went to Twitter and saw some eehh things. It is ridiculous how some react and saddening that they forget they are talking about real people who in real have no problem with each other and infact are very much like brothers off screen.

Till date I have seen Nakuul treating both Kunal and Leenesh as his brothers. In fact we see Kunal and Leenesh in many of the parties Nakuul organize for his close friends like Alekh and Drashti. I remember in one IV Kunal says how they call Jankee bhabhs. I have always thought they considered Nakuul their brother and they share a bond of the brothers like Lee said in an IV how they find bonding easy because they are like the brothers onscreen, Nakuul the eldest, Kunal the middle one and Lee the youngest. And both Kunal and Leenesh calls him bhai and Bhaiya.

And in this IV, the way they are playing badminton in between the shots show how comfortable they are with each other. And I bet both of them were happy to see each other and they missed shooting with each other. When Kunal was asked what he will miss about IB he spoke about Leenesh and Nakuul first and spontaneously too. I am pretty sure the other too also share the same sentiments.

I surely miss them together onscreen and offscreen.
