"The extension is yet another reaffirmation on how quality content driven game shows are such a wonderful reward for the eyeballs on the channel & its TRPs. The idea need not be big but it should make the difference , also the element of being contagious plays a very crucial role. We feel that gaming shows are on a tipping off stage with "Dial One Aur Jeeto" , there will be a lot of excitement in this space to look forward too." says Mr . Sunil Sajhwani ,CEO ,Percept Picture Company.
According to Akhauri P Sinha, Business Head – Television, Percept Picture Company, "Of course, we at PPC are pleased that the show is getting Sahara the numbers, and believe it is time to take the show to the next level."
Dial One Aur Jeeto will now be a 1 hour program in the time slot of 8 pm to 9 pm, Mondays to Thursdays. It is a highly interactive live game show, where the channel invites viewers from all over the country to call in to the studio to answer the questions posed by the anchors. The show involves viewers and their families and friends as well, and has consistently averaged about 8 lakh calls a day, besides approximately 30,000 SMSs per day. This simple format has apparently gone down well with the viewers, and seems set to deliver the numbers for Sahara One for a long time to come.
The channel plans to take the interactivity in the game show to the next level. There are leading celebrities lined up to act as guest hosts with Mandira Bedi & Aman Verma. Also the volume and variety of prizes are going to get larger as the show builds-up in the second innings.
