27th December-Written Update

The episode begins with Ralph's phonecall.Alka excuses herself from the table and goes to the verandah to talk to him where she and Ralph fight over her telling her family about them. Ralph says that she should just inform them of her decision not waiting for their approval as they are both adults. He says he thinks Alka doesn't love him anymore and hangs the phone. Alka gets very upset saying he doesn't understand her.Meanwhile Chander and his Dad are waiting for Alka to have dinner.Chander goes to the verandah to call her where seeing Alka crying he hugs her telling her he is always there for her.He also offers to talk to Alka's Dad regarding her and Ralph's relationship but Alka refuses. He asks her to be strong and she says this her fight which she wants to win alone. Chander's Dad comes out to call them for dinner.At the table he says that sometimes things don't go as planned and mentions that Chander had gone out that day to look for work but didn't find any.Hearing this Alka is surprised and says that he doesn't need to do so as he is already doing such noble work and that he was different from the rest.He should ask other people what he means to them.To this Chader's dad says that today's youngsters are very confused and they should just walk on one path or let life take its own course jahan manzil unhe khud dhoondh legi.Saying this he leaves as he is no longer hungry. Alka decides to remove her mehendi but Chander doesn't let her and instead applies lemon on her hands to deepen the colour!Alka is again very impressed and says these are the things which make him so diff from others.
