@Lik...Heyyyaaa! 🤗 Thanks for the compliment...not quite the ode I was thinking of writing...but ma brain's fried right now...😆 Was in a funk during the last week of the show...then work took over...just as well...now its going back & watching all those scenes that made this show special...

I still haven't watched that Baapji crap, I FFed it.

Life's pretty good. DP ending gave me a few hours of my life back. 🤣

Sundas, joh hua soh hua...time to move on to bigger & hopefully better things...not sure I am up for watching HC's new show if the news is to be believed...I've watched promos for it & I was ...No offense to those who do watch the show...I only wish Harshad & the rest of the DP crew the very, very best--they are truly actors in an industry where the word 'actor' has become synonymous with non acting...Hope he continues to shine...

Somehow justifying rape, molestation, abuse of any kind in the name of marriage vows is not ok in my book...now if you show how a woman can rise beyond these circumstances inspite of them, then yes, maybe I'll watch...Again, I have only watched promos of the channel & the show but that was enough for me...

I can see HC in a savior role, but the emotional baggage of the abused is a lot to take, yaar...

Word. Which is why I don't watch, but just keep up with it to know how that show is progressing.

Honestly, I don't think the CVs on Indian telly are capable of handling such a sensitive issue w/o butchering it & making a farce out of it...yeah, the channel wants to show life's reality, but take the TRPs out of it, let logic take the place of sensationalism...maybe then we are talking...

And about the show i kinda agree its sick how they show her put up with it ... till now i can still see it as her confusion between his care and torture ... and his help and care towards her family ... but putting up with rape was so so so sick ... and i want her to take a stand for herself first and then may be new character can enter to help her in that ... she is traumatized and all but she first has to stand up for herself and then someone can help her and i will be fine with it because in life we all do need help

Thx, Nads! The premise of HC's new show is such that it deserves very sensitive treatment for the antagonist & the protagonist--the perpertrator has a clinical problem & I'm not sure Indian TV can handle it delicately...one thing I'm sure of is that HC will do complete justice to whatever character he plays...Just hope he is given complete scope to carry it out...
