wow Jo.......another great topic from u....aur yeh kya...i m seeing it so late....kahin kho gaya tha lagta ha.....Rajkumari Sia & Dakoo Rani Shera.. π 2 female leads of such a story which belongs to conservative era of 13th century. I don't know how Sagars came up with these 2 characters .. but both the girls appeal to me for very specific reasons. Yes to me too....I am fed up of run-of-the-mill, sick love stories happening on Indian Television since last many years. I stopped watching any Indian TV show long ago.. as each and every story no matter how much potential it consists, ends up being bizarre after few weeks and almost all the serials show same things again and again. ..It really irritates me how female characters are being portrayed on our television but to my surprise DharamVeer is different. Mere dil ki baat kahi hai.....many serials start on a frsh note but end up being the same...me here talking only of the female characters and their portrayals.....Being a woman, I am totally in love with Sia and Shera π³ for the way they both are such a rebel and the way they follow their heart. ππΌ Right...not everyone has the guts to follow their heart...rebelling all the obstacles that they face.....In our society, by default.. girls have no CHOICE. Right from our birth, we are trained to be IDEAL daughter, IDEAL mother, IDEAL sister, IDEAL wife... but we just don't have the CHOICE of our own when it comes to select our IDEAL love partner. π It's like girl can spend there childhood at their parents house, either waiting for their dream man or for someone their parents will choose for them... Girls should consider themselves fortunate if one eligible man finds them worthy of him.. in that situation girl should just accept his proposal because he thinks she is the one for him.π€ That's how it happens always.. Girl should take all the burden of being obedient daughter, should consider khandan ki izzar and all that while deciding about her love life. They are never allowed to express their desires, to follow their heart, to choose man of their dreams, to fight for their rights of being with their love. π Yup...not much has changed...in general...this is wat is true for a majority of girls...in india atleast.....π Baap re JO...tumne toh essay hi likh diya...Conditions of girls in todays society also..πThat's what makes Rajkumari Sia and Dakoo Rani Shera so unique and different βοΈ... Although both have different social backgrounds, both are strong personalities on their own, but when it comes to their Dil Ka Mamala.. no difference between them..π³ they both are rebel, and both follow their hearts. They are simple, regular love struck girls... Love struck girls...π³ They are both rebels....though they come frm different backgrounds and they hav to rebel against different things....and they are both fighters...πJab Baat Dil Harane Ki Ho..Toh Sia Nah Ghamandi Rajkumari Rehati Hai,π Aur Nah Shera Koi Dashing Boyish Dakoo.πRajkumari Sia.., spoiled brat, Laad Pyaar Mai Pali-badi, kept dreaming of her sapno ka rajkumar all her life. She was very sure of meeting him someday.. and that's why her heart didn't accept the man chosen by her Mom. She couldn't relate to him. But when her heart gave a signal that Rajkumar Dharam is the one for her..π³ she didn't hesitate to express her emotions for him. Even when he was angry with her.. she still made last attempt to convince him. She went all the way to his State to ask for forgiveness, to make him accept her. Now again.. She ran away from her home to be with her prince charming. She didn't wait for him to come and woo her.. When she innocently said that "Hum Itane Jaldi Nahi Marenge, Abhi Hamari Shadi Bhi Nahi Hui Hai".. that time she was so damn sure that no matter what she is going to win her man and get him by her side. π i love Sia for this....how many girls wud choose to pursue the man of their dreams even if they want him so much frm their heart...that needs sum determination and the way sia is not raedy to let go of dharam..i like it....she tries to woo him...and she even told her mother taht she will marry only him with such finality even when he had not expressed his feeling sof love for her.....she is so sure to get him.....Go gal go....ππΌOn the other hand, Dakoo Rani Shera.. dynamic, dashing girl... raised by her father almost like a boy... Lekin Janha Dil Ka Mamala Aaya, Shera Voh Shera Nahi Rehati..π³ she gets transformed into simple, love struck girl.. who wants to be with her man at any cost. Her pain and guilt is so apparent in her actions, in her dialogues, ... She knows that she did so wrong to him.. and he is angry on her... but still she doesn't want to lose him. She is ready to do anything to please him. I just loved her admant attitude when she said to Veer, "Tum Janha Janha Jaoge, Shera Tumhare Pichhe Pichhe Aayegi"... wow that's the spirit girl..π Yup..shera though a tomboy...her soft side comes up wen wid veer....she vowed to change herself jus for the sake of him...and has been trying to do that....despite facing opposition frm her father....ππΌI don't know how NDTV Imagine and Sagars came up with quite liberal and modern treatment to female characters in DV show.. I for once love the fact that men are not goofing around females, and trying bizarre tactics to woo their girls.. It is refreshing to see the boys not trying to woo the girls by all means.....watching the girls doing it this time is so much fun.....Sia and Shera are so modern in that respect...πHere both our dashing heros are least bothered about their love life π and for a change girls are making sure that they will not bury their desires in their hearts, under the excuse of social burden or parental pressure. They won't be a cry baby and keep cursing their fate.. on the contrary they will follow their heart and achieve what they want. ππΌ Yes both the girls are not cry-babies at all....they wil get their men...even if the guys are least bothered πSia & Shera .. Go... girls... Get your men.. π Actually all their efforts will be rewarded...we know in DV they are gonna get their love.....but for all those girls in real life who are daring enough to pursue the one they love...i hope every girl gets her due.....coz she had the courage to follow the heart.....πWe all agree with both of you... Your lovers are worth fighting for. π³ Isme koi bhi shak nahi.....Sia and Shera....go after ur men...coz if u dont... i m sure somebody amongst us wud surely be ready to take a chance...πππ
