ππno no Panchaali, i was not shocked,. i was just asking about puja and Mohit..πeven i kept a fast, inspite of having exams on that day. ππi have been keeping fast on shivratri and other pujas, from the time i was in the 5th standard, now i am in college.π everyone in our home does so, and my mummy encourages it., being herself an ardent shivbhakt.π i don't feel any problem in keeping fasts, as i am not so foodie and a strict vegetarian.π
I last saw a pic of Mohit Puja and Mouni together on Puja's birthday...
I too went office and worked like a super woman without eating and drinking any drop of water π
in 5th standard to i used to wonder how people can skip meals, and the concept fasting went above my headπ I thought only superman can fast and my mom grany all are superwomen of course π
the only fast I had then was Mahastami Anjali of Durgapuja and Saraswati Puja [ both of this gets over in the morning itself]π
one year I even started eating biscuit before Mahastami anjali because that year the anjali was on 11 am, which was too much for me π
My mom too is great lady she loves fasting and though we are non veg [because I m Bengali, I am born non veg] my mom eats veg most days in the year..
well but now along with Shivratri, I fast on Durgapuja mahaastami upto Mahanavami sandhi puja, which is more than a complete day, because Sandhipuja occurs at late night of Mahastami...
another is Kali Puja [but I do Kali Puja upvas whenever it happens at my home] Kali Puja upvas is the toughest one...
and now Saraswati Puja fast do not feel like fast to mee, the puja gets complete before breakfast time π
P.S:- Why you are not foodie???? in India great veg dishes are available, and paneer tastes awesome yaar...π I have it on every Saturday becoz that's a strict veg day at home
