Shimbh, Nishumbh were shown running away during one of the Ma Durga track. They are still not killed. IN DSS, it is Devi Saraswati's charitra, where she takes Ashtabhuja Durga form along with other Matrikas to kill them. With Devi saraswati's track, may be this story will be shown too.

I read somewhere that he was a Minister in the court of Shumbh Nishumbh and ran away after their vadh ...
Also, we are in DKDM Kalyug na - then how Shumbh Nishumbh ?😕

Cronology is hardly followed in DKDM. May be this is Dwapar Yuga. They were killed in Dwapar yuga as per DSS.
