I beg 2 disagree wid u minaxi mam. Fiction has only been used 2 develop Jalandhar's character which has been done 2 provide a plausible justification for j turning bad. Mahadev's uniqueness lies in the way it tells the story and its trp rise depends upon the rise in the action quotient. If no action the trp falls. Action does nt mean fights, but a gripping plot.
Dkdm's audience also include ppl who hav no clue of wat's in the puranas, they just watch for the fun of it.
More or less the makers never deviate frm the source, they finally in some way fall in place acc. 2 the puranas.

Stories r nt benchmark of the TRP i guess ..if it is ..then there r lot of shows which havent stories at all
bt their TRPs r very good
n abt Jalandhar track m sure 80 % of ppl rnt aware of its puranic version

Ppl are mohit fan..so dont see story in unbiased manner..there are other imp character like kartikey ganesh and parvati ..abt wwhom ppl are more interested to noe...we watch show for mahadev parivaar

If u askin of shiv parivaar story, the J is the one. U can see the whole family, ganas chippin in 2 save Kailash. Now only Mahadev n Parvati are left 2 cum in. This is a whole family coming against against Jalandhar. A united family!

@kaatyaani, Viewers don't see only the end as they hardly know when it is going to end.If they find some parts not appealing they skip those epi, which shows it's effect clearly on trp. We are discussing about track's effect on trp, nothing else. Even I am asked many times by some loyal viewers, when willthis story end? When will Parvati regain her memory? These are the people who add up to trp. Majority makes a big difference.

I feel not just the IPL is responsible for low TRP but they have played around too much with the actual version of the Jalandhar story which is responsible for the downfall.
