'Mahabharata' cast finalised

While the promos of "Mahabharata" are already on air, the names of the actors for the upcoming show have only just been finalised.

While the promos of "Mahabharata" are already on air, the names of the actors for the upcoming show have only just been finalised.

Shaheer Sheikh, seen on the show "Navya...Naye Dhadkan Naye Sawaal", will play Arjun and Saurabh Jain, who is seen as Lord Vishnu on "Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev", has been roped in to essay Lord Krishna, said a statement from Star Plus.

Sayantani Ghosh, best known for her lead role in "Naaginn", will play Satyavati, while Ratan Rajput will be seen as princess Amba.

Rest of the cast includes Prannet Bhatt as Shakuni and Puneet Issar, who was seen as Duryodhan in "Mahabharata" that used to come on DD National in 1988, will now be seen as Parshuram.

The makers haven't decided the launch date of the show...

sc also has poor trp, now y they r delaying it more

SC is very promising show for chanel.They will never ended it in nearest future.

And Jodha-Akbar all se to launch from 24Th June,2013 at 8.00 Pm slot.So competition to DKDM.😉

sc's trp is not good from the first...b8 it may b promising i dont know as i dont watch it...it may possible bcz same thing happens with nbt.

b8 whatever it is i want my mb...

2 months delay is enough...

and mb a weekend show!!!!!!!omg,fir to trp se pahele hi hath dholo...

mb's shooting had been started from april.till now first part os the shoot(with out grown up pandava) is completed,means shantanu-satyavati and those part.

padava part's shooting is already started.and as per news all crew members is now in kashmir.ther is shaheer also.

then why this delay.mb is ready i feel to launch.

Star Plus' upcoming show Mahabharat has found the young Yudhishthir in child artist Rohit Shetty…

Siddharth Kumar Tewary's much awaited epic show Mahabharat on Star Plus' has got its kid Yudhisthir.

Our source informed us that Rohit Shetty, a newbie kid has been finalized to play the young child Yudhisthir in Mahabharat. Rohit is a 13 year old kid and Mahabharat is going to be his stepping stone in the field of acting. He has been an active participant in dramas held in his school.

When contacted Rohit's Mom Sunanda, she confirmed the news saying, "Yes, he has been finalized to play kid Yudhishthir.
