It made sense VeeraBhadra to look like Shiva, but the what is the logic behind MR playing as Jalandhara. I guess the want to reap benefits of the 'Heatness Quotient'. Ganesha and Kartikeya are his ansh too. So if ever they show them as grown ups it will be 3 MR in shiv parivar?

To be fair, Ganesha was created by Parvati alone. Kartikeya is their combined creation. Veerabhadra, Bhairava and Jalandhara are all Mahadev's solo creations from his energy.

^ Agreed.. but in this show they make Ganesh say a million times that he is Shiva ansh and Shakti ansh.

I wish they add a small footage letting us know where they picked up the story from. I am having hard time to differentiate fiction from mythology..

Edit: Is Jaladhara his creation? The third eye was directed towards Indra, up on Deva guru's requested Shiva made it fall in the ocean.

veerbhadra , kalbhairava and jalandhara all were created from only shiv

kartikeya came from shiv and shakti's union . ganesh came from parvati and then beheaded and relived by shiv so both kartikeya and ganesh are both shiv-shakti's creation
veerbhadra , kalvairava and jalandhara are only mahadev's creation so they are meant to be look alike of Mahadev

Veerbhadra, kalabhairava all were diffrent avtaars of Mahadev as Mahakali is one avtaar and maa durga is another avtaar of maata.. Veerbhadra was created from Mahadev's Jata..one of his jata became veerbhadra..
and Kartikeya and ganesha were there kids.. not there incarnations...
so how could they look same.. and jalandhara was another creation from mahadev's third eye. he is a part of his body only.. while ganesha and kartikeya were created diffrently

The energy released from Shivji's 3rd eye was for destruction. He cn direct that energy in any direction, on Brihaspati's request it was redirected into the Sea. The form resulting out of it will be destructive only. But had they chosen another actor to play Jalandhar, it would have been better. Only when he meets Parvati disguised as Shivji, there should be 2 Mohit.

Most of the puran is fictional strictly my POV but if this memory loss thing is added from DKDM puran I don't mind as long as it is entertaining and engaging.
