Just read about ME, Parvati will ask Shivji not to leave till her Shringar is over & Shivji will leave as Dashanana is cutting his heads. Shivji comes, blesses him & disappears.

ok so the story of the ten heads of ravan- this is what i have heard- that he cut off his head and a new one came and he kept doing that to appease Mahadev or Brahma (diff stories say diff things) and they were appeased by the penance and so they gave him ten heads because he had cut his head off ten times...

thats the story that i have heard since i was a child

Ravan cut off his 9 heads for Brahma, not Shiva. For Shiva, he started aggressively, uprooting Mt Kailash, until Mahadev squished him under the mountain and then he did his Shiva Stota.
