Yes they are taking stories from many puranas. But none of them have shown parvati as a weakling.
She is a docile one, a loving mother, a loving wife. But that is also her strength.

The fact that she was able to convert him into a family man shows her strength.

We humans tend to look for physical display as love.

I know I m saying this again and again..but seeing Parvati wailing..crying is becoming too much..
Its becoming monotonous to see Mahadev preaching her all the time..that the only complaint I have with CVS regarding this show...Nobody has forbidden the team to not show good mahadev-parvati convo ..

I stopped questioning her crying long back.
Every god has been shown in bad light .
So what can one expect from parvati.
In this MCP fill india. a crying falling at the feet woman is seen as ideal.

not all god was bad..vishnu was way too fair , ganesh's potrayal was also ok..parvati and karthik were in bad light

Indra is to some extent self centered, but he is not as bad as they are showing him in DKDM. Vishnu cannot be shown as bad because he is very dear to shiv.
