The story goes thus… Bhasmasur is a comic character in Mahadev who is a devotee of Lord Shiva (Mohit Raina). Being a devout, Bhasmasur will ask Lord Shiva to give him powers so that he can attain immortality. But the Lord will refuse and instead decide to grant him the power that whosoever's head Bhasmasur will put his hands on, will turn into ashes.
Now, Bhasmasur will act quirky and put his hands on Lord Shiva's head. On coming in contact with Bhasmasur, Lord Shiva will turn into a bird (he will not turn into ashes as he is the one who gave the power to Bhasmasur).
