Namo devyai mahadevyai shivayei satatam namah
Namah prakrityai bhadraya niyatah pranatah sma tam

Salutations Oh! Divine Mother, who is auspicious. Salutations to Prakrti who maintains. Setting our minds wholly upon Her, we make obeisance to Her

Raudraye namo nityayai gauryei dhatrayei namo
namah, Jyotsnaye chenduroopinyei sukhayei satatam namah.

Salutations to Her who is eternal, Raudra, Gauri, and Dhatri, To her who is moonlight and in the form of the moon To her who is supreme bliss, Salutations forever.

Kalyanei pranatam vriddhayei siddhai kurmo namo namah, Naitrityei bhoobhritam lakshmye sharvanyei te namo namah.

Humbly, we make obeisance to the auspicious One Who is prosperity in the form of wealth, To Siddhi, Nairiti, and to the good fortune of Kings Salutations, and again Salutations.

Durgayei durgparayei sarayei sarvakarinye,
Khyatyei tathaiva krishnayei dhoomrayei satatam namah.

To Durga, to Her who enables men to cross the ocean of the world, Who is the life and strength and cause of all Knower of the distinction between Purusa and Prakrti And who is yet universally one, Salutations forever.

Atisaumyatiraudraye natastasyei namo namah
Namo jagatpratishthaye devyei krityei namo namah

We prostrate ourselves before Thee, who art at Once most gentle and formidable, Salutations to Her who is the material cause of the world, Oh! Divine Mother, who is in the form of action.

Ya devi sarva bhooteshu Vishnu mayoti shabdita, Namastasyei namastasyei namastasyei namo namah

Oh! Divine Mother who is all things, the illusory (Maaya) power of Vishnu, the inscrutable all pervading devi, Salutations to Her

Ya devi sarva bhooteshu chetanetya bhidheeyate,
Namastasyei namastasyei namastasyei namo namah

Oh! Divine Mother, who is known as consciousness, in all beings, Salutations to Her, Salutations to Her.

Oh! Divine Mother who dwells in the form of intelligence in all beings. Salutations to Her, again and again

Ya devi sarva bhooteshu nidra roopen sansthita

Oh! Divine Mother who is in the form of sleep abides in all beings Salutations to Her, again and again

Ya devi sarva bhooteshu kshudha roopen sansthita

Oh! Divine Mother who exists in all beings in the form of hunger, Salutations to Her, Salutations to Her, again and again

Oh! Divine Mother who in the form of error exists in all beings Salutations to Her, again and again

Indriyana madhishthatri bhootanam chakhileshu ya
Bhooteshu satatam tasyei vyaptidevyei namo namah

Salutations Oh! Divine Mother Who is the Presiding Deity over the sense of all beings Who is ever in all beings And who pervades all things, Salutations to Her, again and again

Chitiroopen ya kritsnam etadvyapya sthita jagat,
Namastasyei namastasyei namastasyei namo namah

Oh! Divine Mother who in the form of consciousness, Having pervaded all the world, exists therein, Salutations to Her, Salutations to Her, again and again

Stuta surei poorvam bheeshthasamshraya
Tatha surendrena dineshu sevita
Karotu sa nah shubhahe tu reeshwari
Shubhani bhadranya bhihantu chapadaha

Praised aforetime by the Devas, By reason of their obtaining that which they desired, Worshipped by Surendra on days of Vistory May the Aishwary, who is the cause of all good, bless us and ward off all calamities

Ya sampratham cho dhata dayete tapee tayehe
Asmanbhi reeshacha surai na masyatai
Ya cha smrita takshanameva hanti nah
Sarvapado bhaktivinamra moortibhih.

And may She who is now saluted by us as our Mother, As also by the Suras, tormented by arrogant Asuras, Whom we call to mind As we bow in devotion to Her to Destroy at this very moment, all our calamities.
