Yeah, this is the most ridiculous depiction of Mahadev that I've ever seen! It's like when he had Sati w/ him and was happy, he'd go to his washroom, take out his Gilette Mach 5 and shave, and since Sati died, he's not been in the mood. What a crock

In truth, Narayan, Mahadev, Indra and the devas don't have facial hair - it simply doesn't grow. It's not like they groom themselves. This is worse than the scenes in AS Ramayan where they showed Lavanasura decked up like Chris Gayle, w/ beads on the top

If they're going to change things like it's the 2000s, why not show Mahadev gulping down a bottle of gatorade or coke?

Thank u for the answer dear.=] I dont want to say any negative thing about Mohit😊..he's a good actor👏. Maybe they could show him with a beard. I have seen pictures of Shvji with a mustache and a beard. I think that would be a better option. owhmy!! Ur comment is cracking me up!!On a serious note they should show Shivji how he is described in the Shivpuran.😊

MR is great, but when he's playing Mahadev's role, he should exactly fit the image - not vary them to suit what he feels like that day. The pics shown by Kal above are exceptions, and shouldn't be used here, unless the serial were to consistently show him as having facial hair. Imagine showing Brahma w/o a beard, or Vishnu w/ one.

Actually what dey r showing mite be a blooper bcoz i hv heard dat Gods never get facial or body hair,dey never feel hungry or thirsty lyk human beings,dey even don't sweat too.dese r da major characteristics/features of God.But everybody has deir own interpretation yaar.See,nobody has seen God.Nobody knows how God looked like.Dey r using deir own imagination dat's why u see in photos where Lord Brahma has beard and in some photos he is clean shaven.Same 4 Lord Shiv too.ppl knew dat he is a bairaagi so dey asssumed dat he mst be growing beard and moustache so in photos he has beard.

In chennai,dere's Parthasarathi temple which is da only temple in da whole world where Lord Krishna's idol has moustache.Sabke apne apne assumptions,sabke apne apne thinkings yaar.I hope i hv made myself clear.

Anyways,has anybody thought,in movies and serials,why is Brahma always shown as an old man whereas Vishnu and Shiv r always young? 😕
