ThanksđłI am sort of a complusive overachiever, always learning something or other. When I had study pressure, I stopped my extracurriculars but now back with bang.đwow! That's good! omg! I wish I was like you! But the older I get, the more complacent I grow! The best dance form is manipuri. I love it coz it was the first form i learnt, when i was 2and half.I know only the basics of ballet and jazz, but its good to know. Classical forms have more in common than people think. Specially ballet and manipuri. also bharatnaytam has swastikam and all , which are like 5th position, then aremandi, which is like demi plie. if i knew more, i could have told more. Thanks for your wishes, but i lost all my stamina, so its taking a while to build it. arengatram means 3 hours of doing all the dances đ. Let's hope for the best.WOW! That is a lot of dancing! haha, I only started bharatanatyam when I was twelve or thirteen.
but my dance teacher was such a miracle worker! She taught me my first three pieces within a year.
I could never pull of ballet. it seems painful standing on tippy toes for such a long time
And omg! You should be uber excited for your arangetram! I know you'll do great!Dance is the second thing i learnt in my life, right after learning my alphabets, its kinda passion, although not like studies. Still now after starting it, i realise how much i missed it. Thats why I am also very hard to satisfy with dances. The laughs i laughed seeing mohit dance.đ
omg! I love him from the bottom of my heart, but his dancing is not the best
I mean, it might be unfair to expect better from him as he is only an actor, but for someone who is supposed to be the god of nritya, he is not very good

LOL; no its not like i am dieing to be topper, its just that i am a curious cat and i need to know everything.you started at 12 and i left at 12 . its a good age to start and you must be good, else learning alaripu, jytiswaram, sabdam in one yr along with adavus is not joke.Ballet is all a matter of practise. Its not like i am perfect, but i like the grace and poise anc control on body a ballet dancer has. I am no longer flexible and I am working hard to change it. But regular job and other things to do,it becomes rilli difficult. best time is now actually for you if you wanna dance or do something else. Once you start job, things become too hectic to handle.
Well, that's a good outlook. It's good to learn new things and be well rounded person such as yourself. And lol, I'm not that good at bharatanatyam. I just like it a lot! I try to practice whenever I can.Well indian actors, the bolly ones need to know how to dance, not that they are all goodđI wish he practised a bit in the beginning. His weakness was remarkable during his duet with mouni. Still I would praise the choreographer whoever he or she is , coz it was not completely eyesore.đI couldn't agree more! The movie actors nowadays no nothing! All the old movies had such great songs and such great dances! But aaj kal the actors just walk around, gaze into the camera, and model clothes when the songs come on!
As for Mohit, I find that it was a bit awkward because he was supposed to Nataraj and he was so outshone by Mouni.OH I also live in a bedroom townđ and i hate it here. Specially i don't have a car now, and communication is so damn difficult. I am a big city girl, and luck has it, ever since i arrived here, i have lived in small towns and villages only.
really? me not so much. I was born in Mumbai and lived there for the first few years of my life, but after that, we moved to the US and lived in a university town. My dad was a professor there. And then we moved, like, three times and now's he's a research scientist for a private company. But all the while, we were in relatively small suburbs. I kind of enjoyed it like that.
đhey, thanks for the cc!!!đ... tell me guys, how do y7ou feel abt yestrdy's episode?.. i thought its fantastic!!đ good to see sati again after a long time...đ
