Known still unknown
Devanshi was moving alone towards the river bank. She was totally lost in her thoughts. She was thinking about her past, what happened with her and the day she came back to that city which took away everything from her..her family, her dost uncle and her friend...Vardaan. And after taking few steps forward, she sat on the stairs steps. And took out her locket which was given to her by Vardaan.
Devanshi-"kahan ho tum vardaan..." and opened the locket and she looked at their photo. And a lone tear escaped from her eyes.
And suddenly she heard a splashing sound of water. Devanshi stood up and looked here and there in the search of source of the sound. And suddenly her eye fell on vardaan who was there with his horse.
Devanshi-"yeh toh vahi ladka hai..jisne meri jaan bachai thi...mujhe usse jaake shukriya kehna chahiye..." and she started moving in his direction.
When she was just few steps away from him, she stopped. And she looked at him, who was splashing water at his horse. And suddenly by mistake, Vardaan splashed water at Devanshi as the horse moved in her direction.
And devanshi brought her hands in front of her face to protect herself from water. And Vardaan looked in devanshi's direction and understood what had happen and he immediately went towards her.
Vardaan-"vo...actually... sorry.." and devanshi removed her hand to look at him.
Vardaan-"tum.." and he was about to say more but he realised that devanshi's hand,neck and face were wet and he was the reason. So he offered her his handkerchief
Vardaan-"ye lo...aur sorry...maine dekha ni tha..."
Devanshi-"koi baat ni...aapne dekha ni tha mujhe" and again Vardaan forwarded the handkerchief towards. Devanshi first looked at the handkerchief then at Vardaan and again looked at handkerchief.
Devanshi-"main thik hun.."
Vardaan-"yeh..meri wajah se hua hai...le lo.." and devanshi took the handkerchief hesitantly and sat on stair step and started whipping herself. And vardaan went and tied the horse and then he came to devanshi and sat beside her.
Devanshi looked in his direction.
Devanshi-"vo main ...shukriya kehne aai thi..."
Vardaan-"kis liye.."
Devanshi-"kal apne meri jaan bachai thi naa..."
Vardaan-"vo toh mera farz tha..." and devanshi smiled to him.
Devanshi-"phir bhi...shukriya..kal ke liye..."
Vardaan-"hmmm..." as he was not getting what to say to her
Devanshi-"toh..main chalti hun...aur yeh(and looked at handkerchief) main aapko dhoke(washing) de dungi"
Vardaan-"ni...iski koi zaroorat nahi hai.."
Devanshi-"ni main.." and stood up and before she could complete her sentence, her foot get twisted and she was about to fall but in the mean time Vardaan caught hold of her hand in which hand she was holding the locked. And because of fear Devanshi closed her eyes but soon she realised that she was safe and sound. Devanshi slowly opened her eyes and saw vardaan.Both Vardaan and Devanshi Shared few seconds eye lock. And Vardaan pulled her towards him and she hit his well toned body. And again she closed her eyes due to sudden movement. Both of them looked at each other and they shared a few seconds eye lock and devanshi was the one to break the eye lock.
Then devanshi moved away from him.
Vardaan-"so...sorry" and devenshi was just able utter
Devanshi-" sh...shukriya..." and turned and started moving. Even Vardaan turned to go when his eyes fell on Devanshi's locket and he bent down and picked up the locked. He turned to see where is Devanshi and he saw her at some distance.
Vardaan(shouted)-"SUNIYE...AAPKA LOCKET..." and Devanshi turned and saw Vardaan coming towards her. And after some minutes, Vardaan reached her
Vardaan-"vo...aapka locket wahan gir gaya tha.." and devanshi's eyes moistened and Vardaan noticed it.
Devanshi-"phir se...shukriya..." and took the locked from him
Vardaan-"kisi apne ne diya hai..." devanshi first looked at Vardaan and then at the locket
Devanshi-"haan...apno se bhi bhadkar hai vo insaan.." and Vardaan smiled
Vardaan-"thik hai chalta hun.."
Devanshi-"hmmm"
And both moved in opposite direction.
