Ok I am asking this question just to clear my confusion on this matter.

So as I remember, Mehak was married to Mr. Sahay and he went into Comma so she married Dev as a plan. Mr Sahay later on died and now Mehak is Dev's wife. But if Mehak was already married to Mr. Sahay so her marriage with Dev is not legal. Or is it?

As you know...i have just watched a few episodes of S1. But as far as i know...Dev and Mehek never got divorced...she went away from him by faking her own death.

So her marriage with Sahay is not valid (idk if they were even married or not). Legally she's Mrs. Mehek Miranda Burman.

I think that it is valid. Even if she married Mr. Sahay before Dev, she did not use her real identity to do so. According to the official document Mehak is married to Dev.

Mehek was married to Mr. Sahay before she married Dev. Any way thanks for the clarification

Well..as per my understanding, the Vani Sahay angle was fake where Mr. Sahay also played along since they are all part of Munim's gang but obviously he didn't foresee his own death. In any case the mairrage would be null and void cos her real name isn't Vani. So, legally she is Dev's wife.

That has been bothering me too!.

Actually she married Sahay well before she was sent to trap & marry Dev. The marriage to Dev was a fake not the marriage to Sahay.
The purpose was to fake her death & trap Dev in an accusation of being a murderer. (what that achieved I do not know)
She went back to Sahay & then killed him after calling Dev to help her
When Dev arrived she persuaded him to help her dispose of Sahay's body.
She is legally Sahay's widow & murderer /or we can say she killed him in self defence.
Her marriage to Sahay was legal whether her real name is Vani or Mehek.

So her continuous references to herself as Dev's wife are totally baseless & frankly irritating.
