TRP shouldnt be a concerned for the channel reasons:

Look at starplus n sony they have shows running for years which is for society social cause creating awareness wats happening in the country. Like crime petrol to CID.

U get niche audience to cater who watches these shows.So channel better give this show running for many seasons n shouldnt care abt TRPs as it already got tons of non fiction shows giving TRPs.

Secondly Dev season 1 was better in terms of everything I dont know season 2 lacks that essence that creatives needs to focus on. Firstly Dev Is still not progressed he is still living crap life even worse. Instead for season 2 they should have shown Dev established as known detective with his own house n new car n A proper detective office.

Secondly If sumona isnt coming back could have casted some other good female lead in support to give show complete package.

but yes the channel has already given a second chance to this show...and now with this TRP, i don't think the show will come back with S3
