Chapter 14 : A SHOCKING ACCIDENT
It was 10 days since princess manyata kumari was kidnapped. Till now not even a ransom call or a note was sent. All suspicious places were raided, but in vain- she was not found. The media continued to cover the story, but with lesser intensity. For the first few days it was the prime news headlines, now it was just a word or two at the end of the news program.
The stories about the incident varied from simple kidnapping to manyata running away with a rich NRI
Some said that she was spotted in Goa along with some unknown person; others said she had gone to party at Las Vegas
But not everyone knew the truth or did they bother to find the real story
All that mattered was cheap publicity for their channels
Jaggat and uday continued their search for manyata. Uday continued to doubt ajit yet there was no proof of his involvement. There were occasional outbursts when they met, but jaggat was always there to prevent that fights from taking a worse turn
Today uday and jaggat was speeding towards the cliff point-a deep gorge famous for causing a lot of accidents, an accident was reported in that area, jaggat was the CI of that area so he was asked to investigate that incident. As uday was always with him these days he too accompanied him
The place was surrounded by police officers and the members of the accident squad and one or two media persons covering the accident story. It was a car accident; a car had fallen down the deep gorge
An elderly couple who had stopped their vehicle around 12 midnight to take some rest told that the vehicle was coming at high speed in a zigzag manner, like the driver was drunk. The car lost its balance while turning around the cliff and fell down into the gorge. What followed later was a heart stopping accident. The car somersaulted 8 times before reaching the end of the gorge then it exploded. The explosion shook the ground. The couple immediately contacted the traffic police. The police came in half an hour but then it was dark and late night and the gorge was deep and therefore no rescue work could be done. They waited till morning to start the rescue operation as they did not have enough facilities to carry out their work
Jaggat and uday soon reached the bottom of the cliff .the scene in front of them was shocking. The car was completely crushed, its body burned; there was no chance that the person in that car could survive the blast. The forensics was scanning the area for clues. They saw an inspector take a burnt piece of car plates for analysis. One or two bones was recovered and sent for detailed analysis. As they started climbing back to the road, uday spotted a piece of cloth stuck on to thorny bush. He approached that piece of cloth and was about to take it when jaggat gave him gloves to wear
J: wear this we don't want to hamper the evidence
U: yes
Uday takes that cloth and hands it to the forensics , they reach the road and wait by the side for the investigation to complete.
A officer approached jaggat and told him
O: sir the owner of the car is identified
J: yes?(not very interested)🥱
O:the car belongs to princess manyata of devgarh
J:what?😲
U: no it's not possible
O:sir it is the same vehicle which was noted to be missing when manyata went missing
J: are you sure?😕
O: positive
The officer then leaves the place
J: how could this be possible?
U: jaggat don't conclude hearing these sort of evidence. It could be a hoax, cant it be like someone stole her car and was on the run and then lost his balance due to overspeeding and crashed down into the gorge
J: yes maybe
U: now the remaining work is for the forensics , so shall we leave?
J: yes, we need to visit the old guesthouse outside Mumbai, there are rumors that some activities are going around there
U: can manyata be there?
J: we will see
They go to that place and caught some drug dealers but again manyata was not found
On their way back jaggat got a call
J: hallo?
Person: sir I am Dr saidu ram of the forensic department , can you step by here when your free, its really important
J: ok Dr I will be there in 5 minutes
U: now what?
J: god knows. Let's see
They reach the department and ask for dr saidu ram. The doctor was waiting for them
J: yes doctor, you wanted to see me?
Dr: yes sir, it's about that blood stained cloth taken as evidence from that accident site
J: any one we know?
Dr: yes , the blood group matches with that manyata kumari of devgarh
U: how can you be so sure? It could be anyone 😲
Dr: sir, manyata used to donate blood , so it was a simple process of finding the person
J: does that mean manyata was in that car when the accident took place?
Dr: the evidence points so. Iam very sorry
U: can I see that cloth?😕
Dr: yes, here it is
Uday takes the cloth in his hands like carrying a small child, with so much care and brings it to his chest and starts crying
U: MANYATAAA😭
Jaggat tries to comfort him, but uday could not compose himself for a long time.
The media soon got a whiff of the story and like flies over a piece of exposed cheese , they flocked to the accident site, many were interviewing the elderly couple
Reporter 1: this is saline, of abc news , it was her that manyata kumari, the yuvarani of devgarh met her end, we have an eyewitness to this incident
"Sir can you tell me what happened?'
"Actually I and my wife was taking some rest as we were driving for a long time when a car was coming at high speed as if the driver was drunk'
The media did not allow them to complete the story, they came to their own conclusions on hearing the words HIGH SPEED and DRUNK
Some of the headlines in popular news channels were like this

Media was cashing the story . a lot of discussions about manyata, drunk driving and other related topics were held. It was a carnival of news mainly false news

Brigraj , komal,ds and jai was watching the news when the headlines shocked them. the house had lost its charm since manyata had disappeared. it wad a dead house.
"PRINCESS DIES IN RASH ROAD DRIVING"
Jai immediately called jaggat
Jai: jaggat is this true? Is jiji
Jaggat: yes, I am afraid so.i am so sorry
Jai cut the call and sat like a doll on the sofa. Komal came near her and held her tight
K: jai?
J: maaa, jijiii
They hugged each other tightly and cried, cried till there was no tears left in their eyes😭
Brigraj was rooted in his place unable to move.ds was trying hard to compose herself😭
Komal got up and told them
K: no, nothing has happened to my child, no nothing can happen. Manyata beta where are you
Saying this she fainted and fell down 🤢
The whole devgarh family was shattered bt this incident

I was to reveal mr sharks ident😛ity in todays chapter, but I decided later that I would reveal who(family member) wanted manyata dead first
