Oh Pinks, How I've missed you! 🤗
I literally cannot believe this shift in Unnati- or was it always like this? Was there ever any "loyalty"
I remember the first time Unnu came into the picture and I thought of how STRONG the bond between these siblings is- or pardon me...was.
It's odd because at first Unnati seemed like the sister which would always want her brother's happiness, but still respect his decisions as being the Crown Prince and her older sibling: Case and point her disliking J but understanding the reasoning behind the mariage.
BUT THEN...her "empathy" for M (Honestly, I don't even know what to call her anymore)- all of a sudden it takes over and makes her do things that are so out of the norm- lieing to her brother- Although, then the question arises in my mind "maybe she would have done it before, but the oppertunity might have never come" As you said before, that had been like a test, a test Unnu Failed.
At that moment in time, I had lost a lot of faith in her...BUT THEN she feels guilt- she can see the love on her brother's face...she notices the butterflies. Its endearing and I suddenly feel hope that she UNDERSTANDS that HE FEELS. He feels more for Manyata than he has for anyother girl. I honestly felt that she would help him win Manyata over- show him the way.
Alas, that wasnt meant to happen because when Unnu saw her brother get betrayed...she really didnt feel anything for him. It was for Manyata, and Akash. It's a shame, that a Sibling that has loved you since the day you were born is suddenly second to "strangers" his hurt and pain really doesnt register, that she couldnt take a moment to see behind his facade of anger and distruction and see he had been a victim for the first time in his life: and that too by his sister.
AND NOW...we've come to what you've stated. It's sad, but oh so true. Unnu has suddenly gone from Being Rajkumari Unnati, Youngest child of Mahraj Giriraj, and darling sister of Crown Prince Udayveer...to simply Moniya's BFF.
What a fall from grace, and a slap in the face to not only their kingdom, honour, pride and history: but to their relationships.
