love.. yes...earlier, even i tried to convince myself that it was just infatuation..but now Maanyata is getting REALLY serious..😳 it's a bit funny actually..how her family members regard Akash to be nothing more than a speck of dust..but he's her life for her..i guess this difference in attitude is the reason for their violent behaviour towards him today..😆 i think whole of monia's family, including DS, just doesn't have the key factor needed: PATIENCE. It's like they are in a hurry to get things done fast, without even attempting to convince her that it's in her favor. 🤔

CV's had better decide fast..or else if Maanyata abruptly turns around, it's going to make her character look really fickle. 😆

Sorry about commenting so much on your thread ... was so depressed with the serial today and your thread had some good peaceful discussion going on, so came on here!
Some threads are blatantly enjoying Akash's bashing and the very thought makes me puke.
Forget about Manyata, now UV needs to really do something special to come out of the villain mode for me! After all I am his fan and he must not disappoint me like he did today!
I even hated my favorite Vijay Bhai and his pukish jokes today! overall I was looking for a shoulder and this post offered it 😊.
Ciao, diearie!

I love anti-heroes...

In DEK, there are a lot of villians. J, Vijay Bhanna, sometimes Meneka and Brij. and I consider Chikki-Soni and Akash negative too because they often hinder Manyata-Uday's romance.

To beat a villian, one has to be the better villian. So, I guess we need a little villainous side of Uday, just to get Uday-Manyata together and to protect her.

Why are you & IndigoBlues saying sorry? LOL. We're all here to discuss & that's something i love! I hope they redeem UV's character. I know he's hurt, but that doesn't mean he can do anything to justify what he's done. As for Vijay, i don't think that he's evil. I think he can be a nice guy, but its just that he's been brought up in such an environment where there is nothing beyond these political games. Look at who his closest people are : J & Menaka.

All the characters have so much potential, if the writer really thinks about what he/she is writing. They are all just doing it to stretch the serial for as long as they can. They write the first few episodes well, so that we get addicted & then they just start showing crap.

thanks sam, ermm, i'm megz, like you know from my one shots.😆😳
I think DEK CV's are in the process of losing the concept..they need to buck up fast...sometimes I think writers just make some gibberish screenplay and then they don't bother looking at it for any loopholes or mature stuff..bas, wahi tried-and-tested formula. 🤔
the only reason why I'm watching the show is UV and DS...haha...UV might not be the most angelic guy ever, but i certainly liked him till the time CV's made him go all in-love and lose his control and cunningness. 🤔 oh and DS, she's the only sensible character in the show..she's even more mature than UV and Unnati.😆

I agree totally. I really hope they keep it that way & don't ruin his character in the process, making him a villain. I love anti-heroes too.
When bad guys fall in love, they fall really bad! can't wait to see UV actually fall in love with Manyata :)

same! I watch for DS & UV too. I initially started watching for Priyal & the concept, but now its totally just for DS & UV. Manyata's just losing it. She was cute earlier, but now, its a little too much.

i agree...i guess vijay's character is because both his mom and his J bhai are like that only..at the same time Vijay is definitely more evil than J in the sense that he's not as desperate as her..(remember, sometimes villains are stronger and less despo than the heroes😆) and he knows that UV is not interested in her..yet he schemes and supports her because right now he knows that she's in power..the moment Maanyata becomes the 'Queen Bee'..(lol, pun intended😉) he will switch over to her side...right now she's just a 'chawl girl' for him so he's throwing attitude.😆

Vijay may be a funny guy..but i definitely wouldn't want someone like him as my friend😳..UNLESS I happened to be more manipulative than him..😆😈😉

Yup. He is actually quite aware of the situation. He may look like the funny types, but he is cunning. He is supporting J right now, but in the future, I can see him going over to Manyata's side. There are so many angles to explore besides MonAsh love story. The CVs should focus on those angles, like the political games between the characters, the bonding between Manyata & her family etc.

UV is not negative and the birthday fiasco was enough to prove that, right? Before judging the royals and UV for their behaviour, remember that elders found a man in their daughter's bedroom and UV found his fiancee's loverboy in her bedroom. What they did was not reasonable but logical it was.
As for the future , either the creatives will shove down the low-story down your throat or evolve Moniya into Maanyata and take her on a journey with UV from where she will never come back. Even if Aakash comes back to her life and UV releases her , she will not be able to let go of UV. The show has just begun and that says a lot , right?
