^ Agreed. Maanyata makes UV more human - setting off a spectrum of emotions and moods beyond his gamechanger status and his smug grins. He didn't need to smile and be amused while massaging Maanyata's head because she wasn't looking but he did. He was happy to hear her abuse him. He allowed her to shout at him in front of everyone even though the voice of reason in his head is telling him that she and Unnzie are taking him for a ride.
