Part Nine Press Conference Twist

J Nandini and Manyata were told to share a room so they could bond. The girls fought since they were both raised differently. However a light bulb emerged in their minds one day. J Nandini wanted to teach Udayveer a lesson for breaking her hopes and dreams. Manyata wanted to cut down his ego.

" Dekho Manayta tuhme Udayveer pasand nahin hain aur mujhe badla chaiye hai. He really made me look bad. I am thinking if we both get together and think of something we can try to get what we both want," J Nandini declared.

Manyata looked at her sister carefully. She barely knew her and found it odd that she would want to stop their cold war to go after Udayveer together.

" Mujhe pata hain ki mujhe kya chaiye hai. Lekin tuhme kya chaiye?," she asked.

J Nandini crossed her arms and pressed her lips together for a moment.

" I want Udayveer to be disappointed. I want him to feel the way I did when he broke the roka with me," she said.

Manyata smiled.

" I see your point. I would love to see his ego sliced to bits as well. He always thinks he can do whatever he wants because Dadisa adored him."

"True he has them believing he's the most cultured boy and best match for any girl out there," J Nandini stated.

Manyata rolled her eyes.

" Haha woh aur cultured? We seriously need to remove this bind from everyone's eyes."

J Nandini smiled and indicated for her to shake her hand.

Manyata tapped it.

" Let's do it then?," J Nandini asked.

" Of course," her sister replied with glee.

Suddenly there was a knock at the door.

Manyata opened it to see a servant with a flower arrangement.

"Rajukumari Manyata yeh aap ke liye," the servant stated.

Manyata took the flowers and note and placed them on the side table. She read the note and put it on the side table.

" Who sent it?," J Nandini asked.

" Rajukumar Udayveer, the target of our plan," her sister replied.

J Nandini was upset but knew she had to teach Udayveer a lesson through Manyata. Suddenly there was a ringing noise. The girls looked around before Manyata realized it was from the vase.

She found a cell phone in it.

" Hello Princess," the person chirped.

" Oh Tum?," Manyata said as she indicated to J Nandini who it was.

"Did you like the flowers?," he asked.

She turned to look at them and paused for a moment.

"Theek hain. Why did you send them?"

"Dekho if I don't send you flowers, who will?," he asked.

"Oh I was hoping Akash sent them," she replied.

Udayveer stiffened and cleared his throat.

"Tuhme usko bhool na padega," he insisted.

"Who are you to tell me anything? I am of age I can do anything I wish to," she snapped.

Udayveer smiled. He knew what he had to do. He was glad he sent those special flowers.

J Nandini was pleased and knew now how to cause Udayveer to suffer what she had gone through a few weeks earlier.

Manayata hung up the phone and turned to her sister.

" Ek idea hai Manyata. We will call a press conference that tell them you want to marry Akash. Udayveer will be so embarrassed . He will have to think of another way to get whatever wealth is in your name," J Nandini stated with glee.

Manyata smiled.

" You know what we should also do? We should convince Dadisa to transfer the property in your name. Udayveer will have to marry you then if he wants the money. However if he doesn't agree, Dadisa will know he just wanted to marry one of us for the money," Manyata declared.

J Nandini smiled. Either way she would win. Even if Udayveer wouldn't marry her she would have all the money and power. Manyata could leave and settle down with Akash. It was a good thing Manyata didn't really know the true value of being a princess.

The plan was set in motion.

J Nandini called the press and Manyata called Akash to come to the location for it. However time passed and Akash didn't show up. J Nandini insisted they start talking so they could buy some time.

Manyata was about to reveal that she loved Akash and was planning to leave the royal life if necessary. J Nandini smiled broadly thinking after Manyata's announcement , Dadisa would transfer the property in her name instead.

However both girls were dumbfounded to see Udayveer making a surprise entry. Reporters flocked towards him.

"Yes Akash is the guy who helped hide Manyata from us. However no worries now. Things have been taken care of now. Rajkumari Manyata and myself will get engaged in near future," Udayveer stated.

Both girls looked on in shock.

How had he known what they were up to?

Udayveer looked towards them. He barely looked at J Nandini but gave a firm nod in Manyata's direction. She knew she was in for it later.

A reporter asked if Manyata was at risk.

" Both families have arranged well for security. Manyata's safety is not at risk at this time. Please let the public know she needs space and time to get used to her new life. She has been away for a very long time," Udayveer stated looking directly at her.

She felt like he was staring right through her.

" Udayveer ko hamra plan kaise pata chalega?," J Nandini exclaimed.

Manyata swallowed hard.

" Pata nahin. However we have to be very careful around him. He is very clever, more than I ever expected," she muttered.

Udayveer came to stand beside her and took her hand in his. She glared at him nervously, wondering what he had planned.

"This press conference can continue with J Nandini. Rajkumari Manyata and myself have some unfinished business to attend to," he said as he gripped her arm and led her out of the place.

He brought her to the car. He opened the door to grab sun glasses. He told her to put them on.

She frowned at him.

He placed them on her and ushered her into the back seat. He shooed off some reporters. Security made space for him to be able to go around and sit on her left.

Goosebumps formed on her back and arms as he sat down beside her.

"Chalo driver," he stated firmly.

It reminded her of the day he first brought her to the raj mahal.

She realized they weren't going back to her place but somewhere else. Some time later the car stopped.

" Come on we are here," he barked.

She swallowed hard as she felt his warm breath on her neck. He got out first and then pulled her out of the car. She walked in a trance as he kept his hand on hers. She realized as they clamored up the stairs and into a room, that it was his place.

She could smell his cologne from where he backed her up in a hallway.

He stared at her and she stared back at him, not knowing what to say or do.

" Do you know what you could have done today?," he exclaimed.

"Kya kia hum ne?," she asked.

" You would have tarnished reputation of two families with your statement. Luckily you clearly had no idea how to use the phone I sent you. If you want to win against me you have to be more clever than me," he hissed.

She rolled her eyes.

"I heard your plan with J Nandini. You clearly have no idea what repercussions this plan would have had. You may have been trying to slice up my ego but you would have hurt your parents and Dadisa in the process," he declared.

Her face fell.

" J Nandini wanted you to fall in their eyes and leave everything in her name. I cannot let that happen Princess," he declared.

She stiffened.

" I don't feel like I am royalty. Also I want to go be with Akash and live the simple life. I want to be with my friends," she stated.

Udayveer glared at her.

"Akash will never get to meet you again. His parents only started liking you when they realized you were rich. Since I became aware of your plan with your silly sister, I went and took care of business. Ab aap sirf meri hain," he declared.

She started to fume with rage.

"What did you do you'"

" Rajkumaris speak properly. Now if you curse at me again I will have to find a way to shut you up," he said with a evil smirk.

She looked at him stunned.

He caressed her hair and then her cheeks and then almost touched her now trembling lips. He settled for blocking her path for a few more moments.

" You may not recall this but the scar on your upper back is a mark from me claiming you as mine," he stated.

She looked at him startled.

"It's what gave you away that night in pub," he whispered.
