Today, Varun Badola mimics tabla maestro Zakir Hussain, while his partner Deepak Dutta plays Ustad Amjad Ali Khan! Their act is a hilarious musical jugalbandi and we hear it left the judges in splits. In fact, the performance was so appreciated by judges Archana Puran Singh, Satish Shah and Johnny Lever that the duo scored the highest marks on the episode. The judges also remarked that Varun Badola had an alternate career in music in case he needed a break from acting! And may we add that last week we simply loved Swapnil Joshi's take-off on a eunuch. Brilliant stuff there! |
