Imposed? People have tried that for centuries. It hasn't worked, it never will simply because not everyone has the same view of God. If people start to tell others what to believe, it's going to start tiny little religious wars everywhere, which eventually would lead to big wars (we certainly don't want that). As I mentioned in my previous post, religion is more of a private matter. Don't impose your set of believes on others and they should adhere to the same thing. Unfortunately, that's not the case in todays society (was it ever?). Everyone has this belief that theirs is the one "true" religion and that's where the conflict comes in. There's always going to be someone who won't believe the same and short of exiling, killing, getting rid of them, somehow, from a particular region (which would, in my opinion, be violating a human right) for not believing in the same religion there's really not much one can do. You can't change a persons own personal set of believes. Rather then having them conform, meet them halfway or just leave religion out of it. If only everyone could do that, society would be that much closer towards a Utopia, never yet reaching but close enough.

Also if we were to start living in areas dependent, solely on our personal set of beliefs concerning religion and God, not only would this be a problem family wise (as there are families where those of many different faiths co-exist) it would also cause a rift between the different territories in the long run, and that's certainly not a good thing either. Not to mention the other repercussions such as climate, location, space etc…
Again we're talking - wars.

But don't you think we have more problems/conflicts due to 3 major religions having started in the same region.?

True. True. But try imposing anything on anyone and if they're anything like me, they want the exact opposite. That's the whole trouble with imposing.

Besides, which ONE would you pick? See, I already want the one you didnt pick.

The day religion will not be considered a factor for a person to choose where to live, world will be a peaceful place.

Don't understand why should it matter to me if my neighbour practices a different religion from mine, as long as he/she is not criticizing/disparaging mine to hurt my feelings.

Imposing religion - not a good idea.
