What is your opinion............😊

Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. I have never understood why art has been categorized into an elitist category for the classes and not masses. There are some so called pieces of art that I never get. In my world something that brightens my day or expands my horizon will be true art, I could care less for the elitist definitions.

Most of the elitist art is commodity. I wonder if elites themselves understand or appreciate any of the expensive art they acquire for its artistic pleasure and truly justify the price they paid. πŸ˜‰ I can appreciate MichaelAngelo and Da Vinci art but not Van Gogh , Picasso or MFH. The only reason I can think of someone paying millions for a piece of art is that there will be another down the road who will pay double that to acquire it.

Picasso's are a master piece... Just a general theory of relativity is.. It doesnt require masses to recognize it as long as people who matter understand...😊. beautiful art, music, science all are a part of serious perspecitve not coffee table chat...πŸ˜†

Now if you cant call this a master-piece.then you should really seek out potrait or landscape painting. Sometimes form is more important than content and which is why surrealism, cubism..etc is so popular....

well said 😊

Again well said Qwerts.

What I believe , there is no boundry to arts , it is just a way of expression and if it satisfy sense of aesthetics of people , no matter who , if masses why not if a group then what's wrong in it ..... When I was a kid I always laughed over the paintings on trucks and buses back home , but now I take it as part of culture and enjoy it in a big picture of society where it exists . I may not like to keep such paintings in my home where I may prefere something closer to my own perceptions 😊
