Power Corrupts a person?

Individuals(we) become corrupted after gaining Power?

well i dnt believe that. Simply because if u hv all that power if ur a wise person ur gna use it in the right way.

Howevere u cud agrue on the other hand that power does make ppl blind to others around them perfect example george.w.Bush

First of all, I don't agree on the example you gave, coming to the point.

Depends on person to person how they manage power, individuals who understands value and responsibility, or basically purpose for which power has been provided seldom is corrupt. Secondly, in order to fulfill responsibilities, there are actions or decisions made in best interest of country, which might not be understood by citizens and is subject to criticism, not necessarily mean power holder is corrupt.

Sometimes power corrupts people & sometimes it doesn't. Also, lack of power may also corrupt people too. Hence no generalization according to me.
