Its a Myth to think that Quantity degrades the Quality.
For instance consider IF :
If we consider in a realistic manner:
Quantity definetly degrades the quality!! KISS(Keep it simple and short) formula works well!!!
Consider IF:
However, telling a concept precisely(in less quantity) and in a qualitative manner is excellence!!!!😊 and people can explain any concept in detail only if they have good idea about that topic, who don't have any idea naturally write less!!😆
But, in modern day people beleive in less quantity and more quality formula.May be this is the reason behind the length and size of the clothes of Film actresses😉!!! The food we take also need to be of less quantity and more quality😭!!!

Myth...Excellent point about food..!!! Although I agree in principal about quality of food being important I have to mention that latest diet mantra is to eat more food of lesser calories then dense foods. For example you can have one small piece of cake OR have 25 pani puris OR 3 dosas... So with food it is better to eat more of low cal foods.!!!!
As with clothes , the less one wears the more one shows so they are playing quantity vs quality angle simulteneously.
Thanks for sharing views.
I know, in most of the reputed companies it's quality over quantity. But if you see the Chinese manufacturers, people don't expect or want much quality from them, just something that can serve it's purpose for the time being and then breakdown if it wants. Even some FMCG majors in India are all about quantity and very less about quality.
Thats what I wanted to come to "reputed companies it's quality over quantity." They claim to adhere to quality standards (specifically for BPO's), but as you mentioned later in the post that "expectation of customers", forces big names with high quantity rating to deliver poor quality products. Sad middle layer is unable to manage the expectations of client who just want quantaitive work as of today, later to realize that they shouldn't have compromised.

# of children - quality 😆
😆😆 So true - When am hungry can eat anything, while praising it - same food doesn't deserve second look when not. (no offy - we should respect any food)

Well Someone say here before about this.... and thats really good..... When hunger increased , that time no one think about Quality ... So Means we need Quantity at that Time.... At the time of need..
QT did and yes I agree.
😳
Hugs - quality and Quantity 😆 😉
Edit** -Will add more to the list later. 😊
Thanks Saira, The most important thing *HUGS are listed, we got it😉 😆

What I gathered from your overall post - Qualitative quantity is good.😊
Quoted part - 🤣
I know, in most of the reputed companies it's quality over quantity. But if you see the Chinese manufacturers, people don't expect or want much quality from them, just something that can serve it's purpose for the time being and then breakdown if it wants. Even some FMCG majors in India are all about quantity and very less about quality. Your father is absolutely right especially when it comes to his kind of job. Afterall what'll you do with a gun which fails to fire once out of ten times or one in every twenty guns manufactured is defective and somehow shoots the bullet backward (just like in those cartoons ain't it).
😆 Uncle S...You have joined the category of DMers who know my psychology😆😉 I have recently started incorporating cartoons as an aid for learning my management subjects😳
Talking about FMCG there was the high quality trend about 20-25 yrs ago.. e.g. Unilever...I agree an enormously large multinational definitely aims for excellence..but at that time quality-preference trend was present in small firms too.. I guess due to customer psychological state of that time- People prefered quality and long lasting products ...
Now i think people get easily bored by using the same king of products.. Fashion trends change almost every day🤔 e.g. My parents still prefer the wooden furniture whereas my liking changes as trend changes😛 I guess media and fashion industry has got more influence as they have spread themselves. Hence more production...less quality...more quantity for more sales...more sales for getting more profit... more profit then more infrastructure... trend changes => production changes...... the cycle goes on.
Chinese manufactures may also base the production on how much time they have to fulfill the increasing demands... may be that's the reason their quality suffers🤔... but again if consumer wants a quality product they will sure produce one...😊 Again i think consumer has started to compromise on quality 😕
Enough of my rant😛 Im going out!!

My question: Is this Really practical in every stage of life?? 😕
Forget about every stage it's not possible in any stage of life. The capacity to produce quality product obviously varies from person to person and organisation to organisation but whenever the quantity exceeds that capacity quality is bound to suffer (here quality means your expected level of quality not other's level or customer's perceived level of quality). It's a trade off, you can either spend on TQM, 6 and 8 sigma, Quality Circle and whatever or you can spend that amount to incease your production.
