Excellent choices mythili - especially animal farm, i remember reading that in school!!

Can I add a few suggestions...?

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (Ken Kesey) - one of those that makes you laugh and cry without even making an effort!

Pride and Prejudice (Jane Austen) - forget the films, the serialisations, i strongly suggest reading the original!

Lord of the Flies (William Golding) - dark, stunning, heart-rending, yet hopeful... a MUST!

would love to discuss the above... 😊

thanks Mythilli for providing new links. One of the site you mentioned http://www.oshoworld.com/e-books/ebooks.asp has great collection of 300 books by rajneesh. thanks a lot. I like his thoughts and usually hear his audio books, but this is great information. I am sure my husband would love to read this as well, as he is very fond of readhing about Osho and his thoughts.
