Consumerism has trapped everybody in its glaze. Adverts encourage people to spend more. There is a gap even between the Middle class and the absolute poor.

It also painted a very dismal picture on employment generation."

I've no idea what can actually be done about this. Maybe more taxing for the rich and less favouritism to Corporations that default on taxes?

A lot more than simple bribes are involved, Summer! Uncouth politicians resorting to threats both implicit and explicit to impose themselves is way too frequent. There would be no documentary evidence against them as it is usually carried out telephonically. Should there be an enquiry it is the officer who signed the papers who would be held guilty by the law while the politician would get a clean chit.
