Edited to present my analysis of election. lol.
I am happy it is over. Romney was not a bad guy also and he ended up giving a tough fight.
I think the hurricane sandy response (comments from Governor of NJ), auto bail out, women, minorities, youth and that 47 percent comment worked for Obama along with a better ground effort to get out the vote. An incumbent president looses when he performs extremely bad as people tend to give another chance if someone even does an okay job.
Considering the situation he was given and considering he kept his promises I think it was expected that he will get another chance as he did a more than okay job.
In conclusion he now needs to finish the job he was elected for. It does not impact me personally however lately I followed the election so giving me comments.

@ BOLD: I agree. Those comments and situations did give President Obama more of an advantage. I do feel like the President-elect has a bigger issue at hand though. If you look at the popular vote (I know only electoral are used for elections), he votes were 58,720,700, while Senator Romney's was 58,145,950. It was almost 50-50. He has almost half a nation to convince that he is there president, and he will be a good one. Almost half the nation does not trust him or believe in him. I personally do, but he has to convince the others through his actions.

I'm ecstatic to see Obama win!!

Poor Chris Christie though. GOP is blaming him for praising Obama's response to Sandy. I don't agree with Chris Christie with his stands on education, Planned Parenthood etc, but I respect people who give credit where it is due. And in that light Chris Christie has done a tremendous job post Sandy. Much more committed, organized and efficient than Bobby Jindal after Katrina. It is a sad political state of the nation, if people expect party politics to trump giving credit where it is due.

Anyway, now that elections are said and done it is time to deliver on promises. US citizens will be waiting for the promises of changes in tax policy, investment in job creation and getting the economy to back where it used to be. World citizens will be waiting for the promises of withdrawal of troops, scaling back military and improving foreign policy in the Middle East.

I agree...

I'm too waiting for the promise: 'medical free' 😃😆

not only that...
but on a serious note,
I feel he has succeeded to maintain peace and avoiding war at every possible step he could!

I hope everything happens nicely n peacefully in the next presidential years!
