A woman is like a flower as much as a man is like a piece of wood.

I don't think that there is a separate purpose for woman or man. The difference in purpose arises due to our individualism as humans and not due to difference of gender.

Yes we cannot generalise but certain traits in men and women do show clearly.

Often men and women think and act differently and have different objectives.

purpose of woman? Depends which woman you are talking about. Purpose of woman in greek mythologies and elsewhere was to trigger wars (helen of troy), get men to sin (eating apples can do that to you). Purpose of woman in hindi films is to get raped if she's the hero's sister (he has to have a valid reason for being a bloodthirsty hound hounding the villain). Or if she happens to be the heroine, then for her to do a song and dance with the hero. Bad, very bad. But then, that's their view of women, not mine. 😊

Yes men and women are no different in many ways. Generally Men are viewed as Bread winners for the family and the lady as a home maker.

In Japan the men often hand over their pay packet to the Lady of the House and she manages all ( giving the Hubby a monthly allowance). These days most families have double income.

With ladies working the problem is that the children may suffer neglect unless she is able to squeeze enough time for them.

Women there are home wreckers who are always fighting for supremacy in the enlightened world of kitchen politics and men are lazy mcps who run big-time business empires from their bedrooms, happily drinking orange juice or milk or whatever else their women are plying them with. 😆

I think "Desperate Housewives" says plenty about women too 😆 The Hindi series are even worse with the Tyrant Mother-in-law or the Evil Daughter-in-law using Black Magic.

But I think everyone goes through phases of development and maturity.

The tongue of a lady can bite more painfully than a whip dipped in poison. Men are no Angels either and have often been labelled as being insensitive or heartless.
