Is the Media, otherwise known as the fourth estate destroying the relationship between the other three estates, i.e the legislature, parliament and bureaucracy?
Do you think that the media sensationalizes and hypes information?

IDK and I cant say if it's "destroying" relationships between the three main organs, but it is a well-known fact that the media is used by political parties... it definately is adding fuel to the relationships WITHIN the legislature.
And, lately(2 months ago or so) the Judiciary has been majorly pissed off at the media for various reasons and the Supreme Court of India has imposed some mandatory guidelines for the media and media persons when they report on court trials.
And, yes, media does sensitizie, hype the informantion, exaggerate on the issues.
What happens is that some of the news channels are owned by certain politicial parties...which use media against their rival parties and glorify their own party. And, the media too reports on issues, exaggerates, hypes on certain issues just for it's own TRPs. And, it does not care about the repercussions of it's reportings. Media affects everyone - the mass and the incumbency, and political leaders.
Charges against the media are always protected in the name of Right to Information Act, and ofcourse through a Fundamental Right(freedom of speech and expression - article 19) in the Indian Constitution, and by the most powerful body - Press Council of India...making the press the almost the most powerful "organ".

Most media networks are operated by business tycoons who can't survive without political, bureaucratic and legislative connections. all of which have the most sophisticated criminals operating them. Media work's for its own interests. Those who attempt to express candid opinions which might hurt the legislators go out of business within no time. Its a vicious cycle run by ace felons that depend on each other for their existence. Expecting Media to be fare is too much asking. 😆 and when the frustrated people defy legislation and attack the Media, they cry foul. This has been the case with most politicians and country heads for centuries. Remember Marie Antoinette? When people flocked her palace asking for bread for their survival she sneered at them and asked them to get themselves cakes to eat. 😆 The wise wont choose to stress themselves much over this as the situation is only worth a debate. A solution to this is can't be sited for centuries to come. Destruction is the name of the game. Destroy people, destroy their relations, destroy the camaraderie and build your Mansions. 😆
