In life do you find it necessary to set limits by "drawing a line". This tends to set us in the right frame of mind so that we do not wander astray. The mind can never be trusted and often we may realize our mistakes too late.
As for foods I am not eating certain foods like Frog legs, snails etc

In drawing a line we sometimes should not be too idealistic and be more practical and flexible based on circumstances.

Of course the most difficult thing to manage is our habits and emotions. Many of us know what is right and proper but often do not bother.

I usually tend to draw lines just so I can cross them.

"If you limit your choices only to what seems possible or reasonable, you disconnect yourself from what you truly want, and all that is left is compromise." ~Robert Fritz

Personally, I don't accept my limits. I know them and recognize them, but never accept them. Why should I? I don't think anyone should let something like "reality" limit their interests and passions and ideas. I got only one life. I see no point in compromising. I know this sounds a little too ideal, but no harm in trying to live such a life. is there? Once you set limits, you sort of design you're life around those limits. So basically, you are limiting your life. Why would anyone want to do that?

so no summerji, when it comes to my life and my goals, i try not to draw a line.

Ah perhaps you are at a stage when you want to experitment and try things out first.
In the quest of knowledge and setting personal goals yes there can be no lines drawn.
Whereas where life style is concerned it may be good at times to draw some lines, no matter how zigzag it might be.
But for those who have strong self discipline and quite in control of themselves there is nothing to worry about.

Vodka is pretty strong and most liquor have a certain unique smell. I cannot tell the difference in taste and normally avoid them except for an occasional glass of wine. That too within limits, as I hate to be tipsy.

So liquor from dates is called Sarab. Apparently Arab states have various types of liquor with high alcohol content like 50% or more. Vinu ji wonder if you have tried them too. Not many survive it. 😆
