Yes, that's ceratinly a possibility, but again, I wouldn't call that a life, the person is living under a false sense of livelihood. But I guess in this case, the person is just being optimistic. 😆 Let me rephrase myself-this situation is a mixture of optimism and a false sense of livelihood. But then, that only leads to a rise in BP and anxiety levels, which mostly likedly leads to depression and/or death. Now, tell me, how can you call that a life?

I agree with you... there are people who behave like this...

Hey Debs surely you do not have any BP problems😆

yes hoping against hope can be good and bad but as they say "Hope for the best and be prepared for the worst".
sometimes sentimental attachment can torture us and we need to get rid of the black cloud.
There are many alternatives available and we have to adjust our thinking and wake up.

Name any one alternative . . needed... 😆

Anything to distract the mind. The mind should be treated as someone separate from us. Engage the mind ins some sports, go for outings, computer games, new girl/boy friends etc
Or go to the mosque or temple or church and be holy for a few days😉

Just continue with life.....you see, this Sunday, my great-grandmother passed away. She was the first person to hold me when I was born and brought me home in her lap. Therefore, she holds a special connection to me. I was really broken when I first heard the news. It was as if my ears were hearing wrong stuff....but I realized that life goes on, people are born and die everyday, and it's normal. I still keep her in my mind, however, and hope that she is happy.

Yes those that have departed are no longer in their physical form but in their astral or other more subtle forms. Yes keeping them in our thoughts ensures that they are with us always in spirit. In some ways each individual is a charater in this universal stage and later the character could be reintroduced; so do not count them out.

If ever in a complete situation like such... I'd follow all that you guys have just said. 🤗

It takes time, no matter how much you try to divert your mind, it doesn't happen in seconds... it takes many days . .or even years and months at times to move on.

You should try best to forget and move on but if it does not go away then a little prayer will blow away all the clouds of depression and set you free.
I once had a nagging thought and it would not go away but always stay with me, one day after a quick silent prayer I was set free.

Well honestly, Life shouldn't stop if you lose the person you love the most. Be it in a romantic way or in a platonic way, if your love is strong enough, it helps you cope through the loss and keeps you going through all the obstacles life puts across. You just need to learn to deal with it.

Lol, there's this saying that time is the biggest healer. I've heard a completely different thing to this one now.

People say time is the biggest healer, but actually time never heals, it's just that you get addicted to the pain.
-I like this version better😆 Pretty relate able for me!😆

P.S- I'm just 16. Hope I'm not considered in a 'child'😆

And I do know what you feel Kanky. Just, I take it in the "friends" and "romantic" way😆 But either way, moving on is difficult.

Well, I believe in leaving everything up to and Him and not praying. Because, whenever I do . . with an utmost pure heart . . what I pray for, exactly the opposite happens. 😕😆

yes God is tricky sometimes, perhaps He wants you to accept whatever comes your way.
I know God will not want to give too much and spoil His darling.
