Well, certainly when you lose someone very close to you, the shock is immense, and it looks as though time has stopped. But it looks like when something eventful happens to you, time stops. I guess because it's related to the space-time equilibrium. But the key word here is relative. As something eventful happens, such as a cup falls, the things/people in the frame of reference you are referring to slows down, it's maybe because the mind sends out neuroreceptors to replicate the effects of feelings of speed of light, because the tip of the cup falls at that speed, and maybe that's why you feel like time slows down.

PS: I'm 15 also, so no BS with mešŸ˜›šŸ˜”

I'm so happy I have some person who'sof my age group! YAY! šŸ˜†

Well, kay. You are right. 😊 It's like, one knows this was the ONE . . the only support system and then when that person goes away . .the pain's immense, you know. Hard to bear. Though, life doesn't really stop for anyone, though . . there remain changes and a place empty in your heart which nobody can fill.

Internet could never be a viable support forum especially for young kids. There are all kinds of people lurking around who could take advantage of the situation by seemingly offering a shoulder to cry on. Talk to the elders in your family if there are real problems.

It might be for kids, but it can be a great tool for at least teenagers. People have so many problems that can't be shared with family members, plus not everyone have real/true friends to open their heart, and as such, we need someone - be it virtual - to tell about our problems. Internet helped me a lot, but then again - I was about fifteen.

We do EXPLODE! šŸ˜† In fact, we have to bear with the wildest of mood swings just because the person we were used to being with has all of a sudden disappeared. Not just that . . KIDS have numerous things on their minds . . and when the whole thing has to come out, a teenager either shouts, thinks of hurting himself or if a Lil wise, cries and forgets it the next day!

I'm KINDA going through that. But then, you know . . a case where you ALWAYS have heard to what your conscience said, using your brains is kinda immaterial after that. Of no use, it is cause every time you try rectifying if it was a MISTAKE . . your emotions take over you!

And like, really. Some things can be definitely not talked out with parents and then . . when you dun have friends you can really count upon . .who else do you have? This virtual world is the only option left.

Time heals what reason cannot.

People will always walk in and out of your lives, so cherish the moments when they are with you, and cherish memories once they leave. Lost love is still love. Its just taking a different form is all. Maybe you can't see their smile, or talk to them, or touch them, but when all those things disappear, something else appears - memory. If you really love someone, a memory is all that it takes to continue loving them.

Life never stops and time never slows down, but memories also never fade -- not even when you want them to.

Depressive teens should give a thought to what you and the others just said. 😳

As a teen, you should also know that being depressed doesn't get you anywhere. But the world will always look brighter behind a smile. :)

I hope this topic wasn't inspired from a personal situation. Losing someone you love is hard no matter who they are.
