For instance, emails - Do you think its rude if someone doesnt reply to your emails?
Some people just have the habit of leaving msn/yahoo conversations midway and perhaps not replying for half an hour - and the next thing you know the person goes offline without even saying a bye... would you be angry? (and lets just say it wasn't due to a connection problem)

If you get random PMs on ur facebook or orkut or IF accounts - not extremely important messages but will it be still rude to not reply?

SMSES - ..unless its a direct question, some people do not at all reply to smses! - would you be offended?

The forum - when someone starts a topic - there are many views but no reply -

Yes, to reply or not to reply pretty much depends on the content of the message , who the sender is, and it also depends on the circumstance you are in (lyk if ur busy sick angry or not)..... but do you feel obliged to reply to a message if its frm a close friend? Would you feel offended if you don't get replies to your emails/sms/msgs ?

Was just thinking about this and YES! I think its rude to not reply. Make an excuse that your bust but don't just leave the other person hanging around waiting for a reply. Yes you did not ask them to wait but its still really rude.
On msn etc - people do it all the time - sometimes i find it rude. It depends. Like sometimes there convo has withered away anyways so its fine - but i find it rude when someone replies half an hour later.
If on PM/Facebook etc it needs a rpely - i always give a reply. If it doesn't need one then i sometimes won't. Most of time i still giv a short reply as its an acknowledgment of reciving the message. Yeah also on I-F with PMs because im a promt person mostly lol i get fustrated if someone has read my message and not replied or who has been online all day/few days posting and still has not bothered to read my message. Its worse when they delete the message too. With topic views you can understand if people have nothing to say but they could press the thank you button 😳
Yeah depends on context etc...and circumstances....but yeah i DO get offended and Annoyed when people don't reply because its like well i took time to send you a msg and u culdnt even be bothered to read it or reply. Actually i was offended today by people not replying to message. If its friend feel obliged but dont mind but i just fin it really rude when they dont reply and you know are awake not busy etc because it makes you feel like well they cant b bothered- next time i just wont bother wasting my time. Sent a text to a friend she didnt reply but other make friend texted her and she replied so was a bit annoyed by that.

No , i don't ,
cos i am in the same league of those who don't always respond 😆

Some people feel ,
it is rude on the other persons' part to send a random message !!😃
Think this way now 😆

I guess , i would be inclined to give my reply ,
if not obliged 😊

As i said earlier, no.

On a side not , i feel we shouldn't get offended after all.
We should take situations in our stride , cos there is no use getting offended,
it only harms you.
However, i myself do get offended from time to time,
but i do realise , i shouldn't 😊
My actions are really way apart from my holy words 😭😆

Hmm, interesting thought. I don't have time to reply right now, but then simply increasing your "number of times viewed" and leaving your "replies made" column the same would somewhat defeat the purpose of this topic, so I'm responding to tell you that I will get back to you soon. 😆

On a quick note, I don't reply to every topic (talking specifically about IF here), because I don't relate to or have a concern with every topic. I don't know if that's right or not, but personally, I would much rather that people who don't relate to the topic or don't have anything valuable to say on the issue not reply to my topic just because I don't want to compel them to exert brainpower over something they could care less about, nor force myself to act like what they are saying is coherent or relevant. But I'm quite selfish that way. 😆

Emails are a totally different issue --- more tomorrow, g'night.

It really depends. If you are having a conversation with someone via MSN, but the conversation just dies after a while, I don't think you need to say anything. I usually don't, I just log off. But if you are having a conversation with someone, its very rude to just leave while they are typing. You should at least let them know that you're busy and have to go.

I hate it when I'm texting someone and its not a long text either, I'm just telling them something and they send a text back saying "ok." It makes me soo angry, like why are you wasting time and a text?😆

yeah i feel its acting pompous... i think the best way to avoid that impression is to be capricious.. kabhi zhat sey reply karo kabhi 5 minute baad.. kabhi.. 4 ghante baad.. makes people think..... aap key email ki duniya main der hai par andher nahi....😆
but on forums u have to cut someone some slack... since except for jobless teenagers everybody has work... so it might take long for a reply ...

I TOTALLY GET WHAT u mean! Is it just my thought or do GUYS in general, hv an awful sense of pace when it comes to replying messages or smses ?

Yeahh - the least one can do is to acknowledge tht they've received the message !

Which makes me wonder - do some people deliberately not reply coz of friendship problems? I mean yeah, if both parties are feelin a strain in a relationship, guess its ok to not reply- but what if not replying is a gesture to show - I am not interested in talking to you anymore ? Oh well- this becomes a totally different issue altogether..

Thanks for replying btw ! 😆

Hahaha ! that is veryyyy true!

But what i meant also was - is it right to not even respond to a point made in that topic which requires a reply? Like suppose, you do ask something relevant to a particular topic in that thread itself but everyone is just busy giving their points, without quite addressing ur question ..
