This game show, recently gave a participant, Mumbai resident Rahuul Khanna, a grand prize of a Mercedes Benz car worth Rs 25 lakh, the highest in the show so far.
Super Sale is an exceptional game show because the winners do not have to pay tax on their earnings as the commodities are obtained by bidding. This game show facilitates purchase of commodities against super sale rupees which are in fact points earned by the participant as he progresses in the game.
For example, a Home Theatre that may cost Rs 19,500 can be bought for 45 super sale rupees or a refrigerator that costs Rs 16,500 can be bought for 15 super sale rupees.

Aditi Barua from Guwhati, Kanwaldeep Singh from Gurdaspur and Kamal from Bangalore were the lucky winners. The total money given away in this game amounts to about Rs 1.5 crore. The game has multiple participants and multiple winners and has had over 5000 winners so far. There are 15 different prize levels and on an average each participant has won about Rs. 5000.

This game show has given out the maximum amount by way of prizes. The total amount given away as prize money on KBC 2 till date is Rs 10.46 crores.

With such huge prizes at stake, a contestant's average earning comes to about Rs. 75,000.
